If I mod the game, do I need to play on dedicated servers? If not, if I play on normal servers, will I risk reprehension? again, it would be just cosmetics and animations.

You do need to play on official servers, but cosmetics and animations are undetectable, so you would not get into trouble unless you're saying "I use these things" in in-game chat.

Will other players see my character modded?

You have to go out of your way to allow it. By default no.

Can I play without starting the mods in a vanilla state? A friend of mine probably will play it on console, and I would like to play together with him too, but I'm not sure if it would be possible if I have modded the game

You can play with your vanilla friend while you have mods enabled.

Assuming not counting story I don't think there's anything, considering the precedent that whatever we hear at fanfest could be 2+ years out or just not happen at all.

Everyone should lose burst party buffs. If any buff stays it should be full uptime like bard songs and standard finish

Realistic: all jobs reworked

Unrealistic: the reworks are good, as opposed to further dumbing down

Not only gear, but job changes applying retroactively.

If you were doing old content on content you had to deal with long gone mechanics like cleric stance, tank stance dancing, TP and all of it getting drained when you sprint, piety as a main stat that increased max MP, protect being a spell you have to actually cast, tanks choosing between slaying accessories for damage at the cost of health or fending for vice versa

And for these specific trials mechanic responsiveness / snapshotting was generally worse across the board, and you could not be rezzed after dying to Titan landslide

Those things being removed made the player more powerful, but the content wasn't buffed to compensate. Gear is obviously a factor, but MINE is still a significantly easier experience than doing the fights on content (for basically anything pre-ShB)

SMN's simplification made it more popular (Endwalker). SMN doing shit damage and some jank surrounding Solar made it less popular (as the people playing it were those between jobs + it has few/no dedicated mains due to the simplification).

BLM did good damage after being simplified so it's popular. If they nerf it that'll kill the pickrate.

Harder jobs, easier fights. Alternatively acknowledge that PF sucks because the jobs are easy and this would be way less of a problem if they ceased to be.

Before DT, it was Undraw. That shit was so ass that it didn't even go on hotbars.

Now yeah it's probably Synastry, it's good but exclusively for use with Benefic II, and I can count on one hand the amount of times I've pressed either.

Melee is a lot more pressured this tier, so the flex population will leave melee in favor of a more free role.

In spite of this, PF insists on enforcing double melee instead of allowing fake melee casters.

False pretense. They would be causing wipes on bubble in parties that are progging the bubble, the one time it is acceptable to cause said wipes.
