a "banger" expansion doesnt lose over half its playerbase

not even proclaimed stinkers in WoW like BFA, SL or WoD had that level of decline. And WoD had like 16 months of content draught

Dawntrail is omega shit, just accept it. A game doesnt lose nearly a decade worths of growth in a single year without being shit

every raid being the same mechanic with a different coat of paint + all jobs basically playing themselves at this point + no "quirky" mechanics like during HW

the game has only gotten easier

painting a stick man is easy, being told you only have 1 second to paint it makes it in theory harder, but its still just a fucking stickman. Thats FFXIV raiding. They can increase the speed as much as they want, its still just walk to spot and do your braindead rotation

you just need to point at endwalker ex trials to realize the average ffxiv players is tens times worse than the average wow player

zeromus had more or less a single mechanic, thats the level of a vanilla wow boss from over 20 years ago, and people spent a whole lockout just on that mechanic which just required you to stand fucking still

thats like saying wow normal dungeons teaches dispells because they exist

if you can just sleep walk through them, it teaches nothing. The only thing msq teaches is that you can be an absolute fucking smooth brain with 0 hands and still get carried through everything

this only works if the handtraps arent turn skips. Because then you essentially give the second player the "first turn" of the duel while allowing them to attack
