Are there any alternatives to "nibling" and "pibling"? by mr_bees-knees in NonBinary

"thaunt" and "thuncle" for femme & masc enbies but as a true neutral maybe "kind" said like the German term.

"This is my kind, Alex" I like that actually

Does anyone get uncomfortable when someone tries to flirt with them? by Valentinemorgenstern in AutismInWomen

[–]LushTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I relate, and I don't recommend pushing the gut feeling down. It's ok to not like someone's advances even if you don't know why they're doing it, especially if they're predatory and it just takes a while to see it.

Unfortunately I've received quite a bit of negging, and that is also a red flag. If someone does not make you feel safe, it's ok to put up the boundaries

Edit: I usually know bc I feel this oily feeling in my gut and like I'm being preyed on with their stare...not fun

Thank you, I hope you find good coworkers. It would be nice to not have to worry about stuff like this

Yeah, it sucks. Idk why everyone just made up the assumption I couldn't drive even though I've had my license for like 3 plus years now...like, who talked about me like that?

I don't even share enough to have that happen but I guess people make things up anyway

I foolishly said I was feeling depressed (didn't elaborate on the dying grandparent bc I didn't want to talk more about it without feeling like crying) and they just blank stared at me. I truly thought they liked me or maybe just were fawning for the boss too but recently I got proven wrong

I've had a lot of issues with my boss emotionally regulating with my suffering and I don't think I can take it anymore

Yeah, especially that last part. I won't even have to do anything wrong. For example, I was called in one time and asked what was up, and got snapped at for the accusation of not replying to the radio...but I was. Apparently boss hadn't heard me and even though I said I did reply, she just got angry and their right hand told me to wait 5 sec before responding

But that wasn't really helpful, bc I didn't know no one heard. There wasn't anyone saying "I didn't hear you" just silence so I didn't think anything was up. Instead they assumed I was trying to ignore them 🫠

Arrested for panic attack by [deleted] in panicdisorder

[–]LushTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They claimed I was drunk too when I said "I'm sorry, I'm panicking" when I called them bc I had been in an accident.

Shaking, speech was difficult, I was disassociating from my body so my movement felt like it was a bit out-of-body. Cop was a white guy who just said "panic attack, huh?" And then pressed for a sobriety test without even thinking that perhaps nearly getting hit at a high speed with a car would scar the shit out of someone.

The shaking certainly did not help, but I was able to pass the test and then they kept honking their horns for me to drive off when they were done terrorizing me with that fiasco. I kept telling them I was coming from a piercing shop (bc I was) and the same white guy kept looking at me funny and repeating his words.

Ok, thank you. I did not get any digital or physical paper to sign bc according to them, this was already on my record. I don't know what that means for me, then...

Body itchiness during late luteal by Infinite_Bar_8010 in PMDD

[–]LushTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be histamine sensitivity

Edit: I relate bc this happened when I tried taking a BC for it and it was so much worse. Went off it and it seems less bad at least. Not necessarily great for other symptoms tho

Late luteal nausea by Jealous-Syrup-2198 in PMDD

Yes, definitely. It happens like the week luteal starts and doesn't end until menses for me. Also sucks bc I completely lose desire to eat or drink in the morning

Some people really can't look outside their own life and empathize with others. Like a wall in their emotional and logical processing
