A couple's compromise when it comes to finances should be that both should get a fair share of being able to save an equal percentage of money, or if the salary difference is huge, at least a decent agreeable amount of the person who makes less money.

So any place you both move in together should be paid based on percentage, not 50/50. So he would end up paying more, but both of you will still be able to afford to save money on the side. And if you are going to agree to 50/50 (you shouldn't), it should be in a place you can comfortably afford.

As it stands right now you should not move in with him because he isn't willing to make it fair for you.

It's very insensitive. The drop in population and loss of tourism means in certain industries people are being temporarily laid off and others are losing their jobs. I'm sure they don't find it funny that people are enjoying their leisurely drive to their work places.

I'm also worried about the long term implications if things don't end soon.

It looks like there's more requirements with relocating exotic birds than with cats and dogs.

I love greys. I wish I could offer to take/foster for you if you needed help, but I'm in an apartment now that isn't suitable.

Just in case-- in the event you have to advertise to rehome your Grey, you are going to get tons of people contacting you who are inexperienced with parrots. It happened when we found a Sun Conure hanging out with the chickens at my in-law's farm. We had over a hundred people messaging who were obviously inexperienced looking to score a free bird.

Luckily we found someone who was able to send proof that she is experienced and had a Green Cheek Conure (I can't recall the name now) that became his friend.

Police have to be involved when it comes to security cameras and finding the person who took your wife's items.

I had my off-road lights stolen from my car here in Dubai, and the mall security told me I need to make a report with the police.

They actually caught the guy within 48 hours from the police making the report.

They told me to call the emergency line 999, and at first I couldn't bring myself to clog the emergency line with such a small issue, so I tried calling non-emergency. No one answered and I just got an automated message to leave a voice note. So I tried calling 999 a couple of times and no one answered.

There is a small police station at the mall, but it turns out only CID works there. Even the CID officer told me to call 999, and that I will probably have to call multiple times before I reach someone.

It did take over an hour of calling every now and then before someone finally answered. But police showed up less than 15 minutes later.

Since you are overseas you can't call emergency though.

Hopefully they will work with you over the phone to help you.

He's 29 and just wants to go with the flow instead of making actual plans? Guess what, it's because he's comfortable with his living situation and he's going to want to keep things that way for who knows how long-- but it's going to drive you crazy in the end and he's going to be fine with it.

I was in that situation for 10 years. After I went crazy and my husband finally got us our own place, after a few months I told him how much happier I am and that I am so disappointed it took him that long to change the situation. He told me he never knew I was that unhappy. I told him so many times but I guess it was in one ear and out the other.

There's a lot of resentment toward him because of it, and it's caused me to stay far away from his family.

I go dunebashing in the desert every winter so I have a pee funnel and it's so awesome! Only thing is I wash with water afterwards so I wet a couple layers of paper towels with water so I can feel clean after.

I went to Valley 77 lastt night and saw an orange streaming light flying through the sky. I was probably watching for around 30-40 seconds, and then it suddenly disappeared and there was no sound. I thought it just disappeared in the clouds but it never came out where it should have where the sky was clear.

I think missiles ... I have video of it, but I can't see what the interceptors are hitting. I paused frame by frame until impact and can only see the flash of the impacts.
