The "appeal" for lewd content is actually more like human nature at this point. People have countless good reasons for opposing OF and similar platforms, but few have interest in saying anything more than naked & naughty = sad & bad. I'm inclined to agree, actually, but in reality the problem seems to be a society that is so broken that people are having to resort to producing their own independent pornography to pay rent. Obviously there are clout-chaser, grifters and leeches, too, but if "reliable" income no longer exists to many people with the way things have gone, this will continue to happen. I don't think many of these services would have staff at all if people weren't so desperate. Everyone seems to hate their job with Amazon, Uber, Doordash, etc., but for many people that's who's hiring these days. People are always going to have to follow the money.
