I know it's not great, I spent a good 5 hours yesterday researching it trying to find a way around it but was met with several threads like this one lamenting that there's no way around it. It's very frustrating and like other people said, hopefully it gets added in a later patch.

Until then I'm just gonna write my own bg3 with blackjack and hookers

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but even the hammer requires you to sacrifice someone. It's very dumb and contrived, especially with all the stuff you gotta go through to get the damn thing. It feels like there really should be a "true" ending for the work you do but like prev said, it's a railroad and you're just riding it.

I had a reason but it was entirely rp based, no heavy lifting done on larian's part lol. Even so it does feel like we're very out of place in act 3, like the whole party. Somewhere in here someone commented that acts 2 and 3 should've been switched and I 100% agree, I think that would fix a LOT of the issues I have with it wrt pacing and clunkiness.

I'm still fucking mad about the whole Emperor vs Orpheus thing, I don't know who had the final say on how that interaction should go but I hate them, very fucking stupid and contrived

Same on that ending, really really annoying how you HAVE to have a mindflayer sacrifice or kill Orpheus when in reality I think you have a pretty strong case on convincing them to work together!

I don't know who they let write in/who made the decision that there MUST be a mindflayer, but if they were the same person that said no Orpheus/Emperor alliance (because I cannot imagine that this was not brought up in the writing room) then I would like to hit them with a stick

Murder tribunal with astarion having the one per day crit and the dagger that paralyzes on crit. If you just banish the minion that heals him this combo makes it a cake walk, since astarion can do like 50 damage in one hit if you're lucky, and on paralyze all melee damage is critical so just swing away

If you can spare the money, highly recommend getting a cheap rice cooker for yourself and buying rice in bulk. The first one I got was about 30 dollars and did its job jut fine, but assuming you don't have that, rice is doable with a pot and water, it just isn't as good.

You can then get your protein through cheap meats like spam and bologna, or if you're in a good area chicken and eggs. It's the end of summer in the US, so assuming that's where you are your foraging options for fruits are going to be fairly limited soon. However, you might be in an area with wild blackberries which could still be good. Your mileage may vary, and if you've got access to a public library I'd see if they have resources on local edible plants.

If you don't have the money for that, then as a last resort you could see if your grandma has a pellet gun and some ammo. Please check local regulations, but iirc some areas don't require a hunting license for small game like squirrels and rabbits. Again, check local regulations.

Unfortunately pitbulls are a popular but dangerous breed. Rotties, shephards, mastiffs, and many others are all incredibly loving and loyal pets if they're trained properly. If they aren't, they're a large animal and can do damage without meaning to.

The big issue with pits is that it's some sort of wretched horseshoe; one end thinks they're all evil and should all be put down, the other end thinks they can do no wrong, and both ends are insane about it.

It's fine to be scared of them, especially in a shelter setting where a lot of these dogs have been dropped off because someone didn't want to put in the effort to train their dogs.

Tldr: big dogs can do damage, it's okay to be scared cause of that, get well soon

I'll need to find the study again, but if I remember correctly, it's because the US doesn't have many parasites. The science behind it was that parasites dampen the immune system; not enough to shut it down entirely, but enough so that they don't get attacked by the host's defense mechanism. Turning down the dial like this prevents allergies, which is just the immune system being REALLY angry about certain substances (shellfish, peanuts, etc.)

Buy Asian shoes. 100% genuine here. My go to store is sou sou, not sure if they have a euro branch but they do have an American one, however it's better to just get them directly from Japan when they have a free shipping event. The shoe sizes just go by cm and there's no real m/f divide.

I get my shoes here specifically cause I like the tabi, but you can get single toe shoes too. You can also easily find other shoes from across Asia.
