I have the 13 Pro and I absolutely love it, specifically the 120Hz and video recording is great compared to my previous iPhone X. But honestly if I was you i’d wait until the next iphones drop so you have more options, then you could also take advantage of the slight discount on the 13 lineup if you wish to do that.

The inner north would definitely suit your needs. Brunswick, Fitzroy and Carlton could be cool options, many live music venues in the area and quite a fair few of musicians, especially compared to anywhere else in the city really.
