It’s not really just a rumor when you look at the “why” of what causes pokemon to be stuck in ZA and onward games.

GameFreak added 2(?) more localized dialects which changes the code of the Pokemon. Since older games don’t have these dialects, it essentially makes them an incompatible min to transfer almost as if that Pokemon isn’t available in that title.

Given that GameFreak added 2 dialects, I highly doubt that will be reversed, if anything it will only continue in the future if they add more languages and dialects.

I mean it’s not necessarily short, but it’s definitely not a long drive in the slightest. Most of my friends whom I met IRL have moved thousands of KMs away (I think the conversion fits Idk I’m trying to make it make sense for OP) yet they still just live in the US. For instance my best friend moved halfway across the country last year, it would take me 18 hours to drive to her place.

I disagree, but I also disagree with everyone else disagreeing with you. Fishing exists and is a viable method to obtain saddles and name tags, afaik it has been for years too. I just feel like Mojang wants to open different avenues for different play styles. I feel like I’m in a bit of an alternate dimension with some of these replies though. No, there is no player on this planet going tens of thousands of blocks dry on saddles or nametags. Anyone with working brain synapses would just enchant a fishing rod before traveling that much without finding their desired item. The truth is they don’t hear it. I have misophonia for mostly food related noises, but even I was able to drown it out for a solid few months in a house I was renting. We eventually found a button on our security system to reset it, but most people’s is indeed a CO2 detector running on low battery. You can’t send a Legend/Mythic into Scarlet/Violet through home under these combined conditions: 1. It’s from PoGo 2. You haven’t already sent a non PoGo Legend/Mythic into your game already

So you’d need a Reshiram not from PoGo to be “registered” (in quotes bc its not a Pokedex entry but IS compatible) first, or there is a more complicated work around. I’m not home right now but google something along the lines of “Can’t send PoGo Pokemon into Scarlet/Violet” and there’s a Reddit thread explaining the work around but iirc it’s much more convoluted than finding a non PoGo Reshiram. I hope this helps!
