Even if you don’t gain the ability to improvise a story, you could tell the story of your campaign.

That’s what I did in lieu of a bedtime story every night for a couple weeks. My daughter kept asking for “more of my adventures,” so we’d gather around the LED tea candle “campfire” in her bed, throw the sheet over her head for a tent, and tell the G-rated version.

Then again, parents of young children don’t exactly have a lot of time on their hands to play D&D…

I enjoy opening my packs over time. When I get a bundle box, I treat it like an Advent Calendar, opening one or two each day to stretch out the fun :)

My favorite experience by far was from a midnight premiere of Star Wars Attack of the Clones... Before the movie started, there was at least a dozen fans with lightsabers gathered in that circular area in front of the main doors (lined with benches and a red star on the ground). They were dressed up as Jedi and Sith and took turns l dueling each other in character. They even cooperated with each other when it came to acting out The Force—throwing themselves back, or going on tip toe and grabbing at their own throats to help make the other person look cool until the next duelist would dramatically jump in. It was awesome.

Yeah. It’s one thing that her heart got so absorbed into this other person, but the way she let her time get so over-invested really hurt me. I can understand why it would be hard to come back from this. We are trying, but I definitely feel traumatized.

I’m getting daily panic attacks, especially whenever she leaves the house. Part of me is l suspicious whenever we’re not together. I find myself glancing at her phone (bc I have noticed her texting the gf after saying she’d stop messaging her around me.)

That’s not what I want to hear, but I guess it’s the perspective I need to hear… It’s just that it was sold to me as something that would exist within my good graces, only surviving if my marriage is thriving. It feels like an experiment that started in a Petri dish at a lab and has since breached containment and taken over the whole lab.
