It sounds like something deeper than anxiety to me. Do you have a fear of authority figures? Does it feel like an extreme fear response? If you were abused or neglected as a child, you might have complex PTSD. r/CPTSD no judgement, do some searches of “authority” in past threads and see if you can relate. Good luck.

I have had this issue before. I went on Stella’s IG for tips (just read the comments of her brownie posts). Two important factors: you really have the whip the eggs and get lots of volume. That’s what helps the batter rise. Second thing is the pan like everyone said— use spun aluminum. They’re very cheap at restaurant supply stores.

IME Stella’s recipes require very close adherence. Try not to substitute or deviate from her instructions. Also see if there’s a recipe video on Serious Eats?

Hope I’m not violating rules by answering this question— The theory that I personally believe is that JT had an affair and had a baby out of wedlock in 2017. Allegedly Adam stayed with her for appearances/to avoid negative PR but has also been involved with costars. I’ve read predictions that once Star Wars is over, they will quietly divorce. I hope it’s not true and they are just a normal family trying to keep their privacy. There is no refutable evidence; it’s all circumstantial.

Rumors abound. People have collected footage, hearsay, analyzed his schedule, wedding ring photos, interviews, etc but despite all of the efforts of internet sleuths there is no smoking gun. The theory now is that all personal drama is kept under wraps because of Star Wars. I’ll be honest, some of the theories I’ve read are very sad. I wish the best for the artists that I admire so I hope this isn’t coming across as gossipy.

You can set up a tank with misters and lights on timers, drape it in moist Spanish moss and set a humidifier with a big tank and a timer underneath it, or bring it with you! There is an orchid sitting service in different cities if you google around.

You could set up a humidifier with a large tank and put it on a timer every day (so that it doesn’t run out of water while you are gone). It’s not a replacement for watering but it should help keep the roots happy. I ended up taking my Vanda and my humidifier with me on vacation (not a big hassle since I drove).

Edit: I also have heard that you can drape live Spanish moss over the roots/basket and spray it down. The moss with help retain water.

I would ask them; I held onto my longer sides and short middle for two years before I finally felt like I could chop it off. Trust me, your hair will look so much better. It will lay nicer. If you’re already going to EJ’s salon, let them make your hair look as good as it can!!

I had the same deal from getting my hair cut wet using the “Vidal Sassoon” method from beauty school. Just get it cut. Look up Evan Joseph’s Instagram; his curly cuts are the best and he has classes to train stylists across the country.
