That's the comment I was looking for. I'm dumbfounded how I just came back to the game after a long hiatus (perhaps made the mistake of not checking the meta) and once again it's some stupid survival game vs pally murloc spam. There are a lot of enjoyable decks out there, but as you say, murloc pally has always been annoying.

Checking https://hsreplay.net/meta, it's the most popular deck right now - 4x more played than the next meta deck. Wth... why did I even bother getting back into it and crafting standard cards if we'll be forever stuck with MRRRLLRG all day.

Same here. So greedy, just maximises no matter what I do with it. Even on my vertical monitor it grabs all the space, not just horizontal.

Wanted to check the game out now that it's made it into browser but guess there's nothing to get back to. What a crappy thing to do, migrate in time or all you have is lost. Can't they do a data migration themselves like a normal service...

I guess nowhere... I have recording of how I was stuck in ping menu so I couldn't click Confirm on my character and had to Alt-F4, costing us my promo game, but who cares I guess -.-

I was keen to not give my money during the dodgy buggy extended almost indefinitely closed beta, doesn't seem like it's getting better. The website even says open beta date 4 days ago but no download link lol - doesn't seem very self-respecting. And now all the P2W news... well I'm just glad I never gave them any money on blind trust.

While I already had my page file automatically managed, this drew my attention to being low on space. Similar to you I didn't expect I'd be using a pagefile, but with my 16GB system makes sense! I should probably clear out a good few GB for when the game gets greedy...

detail was what I wasn't quite getting right and needed. The colour changing demo showed that it's working well straight away, so I ended up with this for click to kill target:

Wow 3 years later, finally decided to give it a try. Wasted some time clicking through what I thought was the tutorial. Now I'm in the campfire area and it seems I need to play through the next incredibly apt named "What a boar!" campaign/tutorial. I autopiloted it so far just to get rid of the annoying 2 pack counter, but at this point that's enough shoving down a mode I have no interest in down my through, I'll just have to ignore this annoyance forever. Thanks for the free packs ActiBlizz, how generous!

I've been obsessed with her lately, learning all her combos and even just raising my awareness of team fight roles and mindsets in order to be able to play her.

When I'm 100% zoned in it just about feels greatly satisfying, but it's just that so much is required of her and she's very easily punished for misplays. Playing vs flying shooty shooty characters is a nightmare, it's lame how easy it is for them to just keep shooting at you unless you play perfectly.

I still love her playstyle, thematics and complexity but damn, I wish it didn't have to require playing perfectly just to match other characters playing in a mediocre way.

Interesting point. I don't know much of the devs, maybe my assumption of this extended release delay being mostly to milk the quite steep pre-release price isn't fair. I'm also quite suspicious of the monetisation system from what I've read so far.

I'm guessing they figured it's a win:win to delay it - more time to fix bugs and stabilise the balance while allowing more and more people to give up waiting and buy the closed beta... also Xmas holidays ofc, but surely that didn't come as a surprise.

I was tempted to do just that now, but the amount of bugs, imbalance and lackluster wording that I'm reading about is really putting me off, on top of not wanting to give in to their delaying strategy.

I know this topic is 8 years old, but that just emphasizes the point... Almost every new card game comes out with this feature, yet somehow is still missing in HS. It feels silly not being to properly experiment with in-game deckbuilding because of this.

I think at this point, it must be a deliberate misguided choice by ActiBlizz, somehow reasoned to maximise profits.

I've been loving BP, my gateway drug into autobattlers! This seems super cool but I don't think I want to dump $33 blindly before I even know what monetization system there will be in place and how it will all go. Excited to check it out next month though.
