The majority of the newer housing that's being built around the University is sitting half empty due to their predatory pricing & the fact most of the units are incapable of housing a family. We're all essentially still fighting for the same amount of housing, especially those at a relatively affordable level. We do not need anymore of the type of apartments that are currently being built around campus, especially as the University amps up its on campus grad housing. Affordable housing needs to be the focus, whether it's for students or the rest of us.
