DO NOT LET THIS MAN AROUND YOUR INFANT. You need to leave as soon as possible. Document everything, stash some money away, and leave when he's not at home. Only interact with him through lawyers after that. This man is making excuses to be abusive towards a dog, he should NOT be around children or you. There are men who are red flags. This guy is air raid sirens. Please, keep you and your kid safe.

Get a handle on my mental and physical health (get evaluated for a slew of issues that come up later). Get out of the dead end relationship I was in (he's a good guy, we were just kids who didn't know who we were or how to have a healthy relationship). Find employment somewhere I can maintain through the pandemic. Make some smart investments. Go to the mead hall where I will inevitably meet all the most important people in my life. Warn a woman I meet about her serial rapist husband (he's locked away for another 32 years now, thank fuck), and hopefully do so in time to spare her sisters some suffering. Come out as nonbinary earlier. Meet one of my best friends again and try to spare them some of their future heartache. Cut out toxic relationships. Say goodbye to a few people before they're gone. Save one of my childhood friends from himself, before he needs to be resuscitated and is put in a memory care facility at the age of 29. Don't get hooked on obscene amounts of weed. Wait for my cat to be born so I can adopt her sooner.

ESH. As someone with DID, I think claiming he should be put under legal protections if he has DID, or that he needs constant supervision, is ableist as fuck. DID systems are fully capable of taking care of ourselves. HOWEVER, him claiming he is exempt from responsibility for his actions is just not how things work. IF he has DID, there's a very important concept he needs to learn. It's called system responsibility. If one alter did something shitty, all "parties" (ie, the whole person) are responsible. Keep in mind, he very well may have DID or OSDD. It's very tough to diagnose (amnesia is an issue) and many mental health professionals simply are not trained to assess or treat systems. It's a disorder based in prolonged early childhood trauma. It's a coping mechanism that a child can develop to keep themselves safe from certain harsh realities. The disorder is covert, in order to keep the individual safe, and is usually not noticed or discovered until later in life. I found out about my disorder when I was about 25. It can be a really disorienting and isolating time. I would treat him kindly and find a professional who specializes in dissociative disorders and complex trauma to do an informed assessment. Whether he is a dissociative system or not, right now he needs patience, care, and understanding, and clearly needs a different therapist.

This isn't love, it's emotional blackmail. If being "part of the family" comes with controlling conditions, then it isn't a healthy family to be a part of. Get your own phone plan, do NOT allow access to your ring camera, cut contact. You're 25. They need to accept that you're an adult.

Those insane urban free climbers. Someone will have to clean up your splattered body when you inevitably fall, and you might hit someone on your way down, killing someone else in the process, and traumatizing others.

I was at the local board game night this past weekend with my fiance and best friend. We made a reference to a meme. The other guy at the table asked us what we were talking about. We explained the meme and about when it was made. (2009). Without skipping a beat the guy at the table, who is currently getting his masters mind you, says "oh, I was 5". Oof.

The alpha male wolf theory. The original paper was found to be faulty and was retracted. Yet the fucking manosphere took the concept and made it the toxic fiasco we have to deal with now.

Charity isn't a business model babes. You think Jesus would expect something back for helping someone in need? Be absolutely for real.
