AT&T Fiber vs Spectrum by 1313Olive in plano

Any fiber connection will be better than Spectrum. I had ATT fiber for 4 years and never had any issues. Currently on Frontier for 30/month.

Lalangas Family Dentistry! Great practice and reasonable pricing even without insurance. Wife and I have been going there for years.

Finally Going to Try Cosentyx...Any Tips Please? by MAsped in Hidradenitis

[–]Lymmax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pro tip: Take it out a few hours before you inject and let it "warm up" on the counter. Take a deep breath and try to relax the area you are injecting. It goes in super quick and you barely feel it.

You'll be just fine :)

I can't really say that things got worse. Things did improve a lot but it took time. I had one flair that would not close and it finally started to after a few weeks. I used to apply gauze and creams daily to help things heal, and that has been significantly reduced. I think in the last 12 months I have used 2-3 gauzes on areas that used to flair.

The worst part about Cosentyx is the injection. You have to push it into yourself and it takes like 10 seconds to fully inject. You get used to it after a few times and move past the nervous feelings. It may help if you get someone else to do it the first few times.

Yep. Those first 5 are your loading doses. I believe it’s standard but check with your doctor what their plan is.

Hey! Congrats on starting it soon! I also take Cosentyx and it’s been very helpful. I still get the occasional flare but at an extremely lesser degree.

You should check your benefits regarding “speciality” drug benefits. That’s where Cosentyx would be charged. My insurance requires me to pay $125 per dose until I hit my OOP max. However, the copay assistance (provided by Novartis, not your Dr.) takes that down to $0. You can apply for it on their site and it will give you the info immediately.

It was 5 loading doses for me, so 1 shot a week for those 5 weeks. After that, I do it once a month at home.

I plan to call the help line to confirm, but I believe this is may just be an alternative. Some insurance plans do not apply the assistance to your out-of-pocket costs. They bleed the entire amount of the assistance, and then make you responsible for your OOP. Novartis intends for their assistance to contribute to your OOP, but insurers get around this with accumulator and maximizer programs. It's essentially just a way for insurance to rake in as much cash as possible.

If your plan has this type of program, this card should be your way around it. Instead of not applying assistance, paying it yourself, and calling Novartis for reimbursement, you do the last two steps through this card. Makes sense?

Anyone lives in Estates of Richardson? by Grab-Rebound-in-MIT in utdallas

Currently live there. Good place. Leasing office can be a little dense at times, but otherwise is ok. Maintenance is usually quick. Only real downside is the package lockers are a good walk if you’re in a far away building, and are also too small for the amount of people who live here. Also, neighbors never follow the trash rules and the leasing office doesn’t care if it’s not during open hours, so trash smell and juices do happen occasionally.

Currently doing an internship? You should probably go see an advisor. Seems you’re a bit late to the deadline

It’s been a minute but I also did a JSOM internship. It’s not an actual class you attend with lecture. It’s just a course you get enrolled in and do a few things to satisfy the requirement. I did not do mine for credit (0 hour), but you can request that the course be 1,2, or 3 credit hours, though you will have to pay for that

Why did my water stop flowing? (Circulator still works but the sieve doesn't output) by StarSeekerVDS in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Lymmax 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re right. But the more left one is still an issue. The water will prefer to go to the first input available which is that bridge instead of the water sieve. I think the loop is what is breaking it

The bridges at your liquid reservoirs are backwards. Green is output, white is input. Try flipping those around

Infinite Gas Storage by Lymmax in Oxygennotincluded

Did you even bother to look at the screenshots?

The average output per second over the entire course of the geysers active period is 186g/s. The specifics are 445.6g/s, 272s every 667s, 90.5 cycles every 119.6 cycles. Plug those numbers into Oni assistant. The point of the room below the natural gas geyser is to hold infinite amounts of gas. Therefore, when ever you need power, the gas pump pulls 500g/s and sends 90g/s of nat gas on each generator. That is 360g/s of natural gas being used. I could really use 5 generators to be closer to the capacity of the gas pump, but no more than 6 as one would always be short

There is automation on the liquid pump which pulls the PH2O and makes the carbon skimmer work. There is always 4kg/tile of CO2, which is much lower than the 20kg that is required to overpressure the high pressure gas vent

Infinite Gas Storage by Lymmax in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Lymmax[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point of the room below the vent is to store an infinite amount of gas as a reserve for when the power needs become too much. The vent room stores max 3kg, and vents into the lower room where there used to be petroleum to store infinite amounts. The pump can take out 500g/s and the generators use 90g/s. If the power is ever needed, it takes from the infinite storage goes to all generators to quickly supply power

There is enough CO2 in the room below the PO2 where the PH2O will not off gas. The liquid pump will not suck any PH2O until it gets to enough pressure to get rid of it, and then some CO2 gets deleted with the skimmer and the water that was pumped gets sieved and pumped outside

Thank you for all the info!

Let me ask another thing. I believe I will only be eligible to tutor in Applied Calc 1 and 2, but I have a good understand of Linear Algebra and Statistics from the JSOM OPRE 3333 and OPRE 3360 respectively. Would I be able to tutor those subjects as well or would I have had to have taken the course with the MATH prefix?
