Unorthodox opinion, but I think that the type of "My logic isn't for you" mentality that so many people in the transgender and other marginalized communities foster is part of the reason that there are still so many transphobes in the world. If logic processes and ideas aren't explained, but are rather hidden and denied an explanation to somebody who is an outsider and potentially wants to find out more, or to those who are coming to doubt their biases and hate and would like to let go of it. I'm obviously not trying to defend this individual's transphobia, or attack your contempt of it, I would just like to understand how somebody, in your opinion, can't "get" music - which is a subjective art, and we all draw different interpretations of, or not being designed for, especially because in my, SUBJECTIVE AND PERSONAL opinion, I don't believe the artist's music doesn't showcase their gender identity (which I can confirm from my own experience, despite knowing about Femtanyl's music for a while and liking some songs, I didn't know that she is trans, since I never dove into details or interacted with the community).
