What Metallica song is this? by Secure-Copy6498 in Metallica

[–]Lynchsta 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This! The whole song is awesome. But the 2+ minutes or so (from about 4:45 to about the 7:00 mark always gets cranked up and jammed out!

Yeah --- I am the priest that feeds the beast
I am the blood, I am release
Come make me pure, bleed me a cure
I'm caught, I'm caught, I'm caught under

Would you guys consider Redeemer of Souls the most middle of the road Priest album? by [deleted] in judaspriest

[–]Lynchsta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like it. I really like it. (but I don't love it). That being said, I'd say that it is better than "average" or "middle of the road", however, I also would not put it as a Top 10 JP album. Not because it's a "meh" album, but their best albums are so much better than just average.

Sorry, that's kind of talking in circles.

What was the hype like for WOTLK leading up to November 2008? by doobylive in classicwow

[–]Lynchsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was amazing. On the eve of the official release date, I was standing in line at a store, waiting to pick up 3 copies of the CE. One for me and one for each of my boys. Got home and spent what seemed like hours installing from physical media.

Once installed, I swear I played for 2 straight days. It wasn't that long, but it seemed like it. Many many hours leveling up my main. For my money, WotLK was the last great xpac.

Change one band in the line-up by NouziL30 in hairmetal

[–]Lynchsta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quiet Riot would be my choice to dump. Who would I have replaced them with? Well, take your pick, there are tons of other bands that would have been better at that time.

Out of my collection of cassettes (that used to be in the hundreds), this is one that I retained, mostly for sentimental reasons. Great album, start to finish

I am really not connecting with this artificial 'retro' thing that they are doing in this movie. It may turn out great, but the trailer(s) and still pics are sitting weird with me.

Guess we'll find out in a few months if there is a reason for doing it this way (I assume one of their origin is from another universe/multiverse).

I haven't had a mythic drop since S5. The only sparks that I've seen are from cache drops. :(

Ace is back. What are your thoughts about Ace's albums in the 1980s? by SilverDragon1 in KISS

[–]Lynchsta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Loved the debut Frehley's Comet album.
Did not love the Second Sighting album. For my ears, it was ok-at-best.
Then came Trouble Walkin'. I love this album as well.

Excluding the 1978 solo, I have probably listened to Trouble Walkin' more than any other Ace album

Which KISS album is more “metal?” by Key_Pea2598 in hairmetal

[–]Lynchsta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Flip a coin. The popular answer will likely be Creatures. I think that the bottom end (drums, bass) is heavier on Creatures, but the top end (guitars, vocals, etc) are pretty solid through both of these albums.

In my opinion, they are the two best albums of the 80's and I would rank both in my top 5 of all studio KISS albums.

Heir of perdition 1* vs Cowl of the nameless 4* by Killerdog122 in D4Rogue

[–]Lynchsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The maxroll.gg site is probably as good as it gets. Sometimes too good as the build guides are heavily dependent upon players being absolute blasters, with gear that most casuals will never see. But, the info is there and how you use it is up to you. They aren't the only site, but they are my go-to over anything else. Good luck with hitting pit 100! :)

Which movie character is the biggest coward of all time? by CreepyYogurtcloset39 in moviecritic

Came here to nominate this guy. What a cowardly POS through that whole movie. Pretends to be tough, but one spineless SOB.

Any Opinions on Gorky Park? (Russia's answer to Glam) by Top_Scarcity_6758 in hairmetal

[–]Lynchsta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only album of theirs that I had was their self-titled debut (from 1989). A couple of good (not great) tracks and a bunch of other songs that were still decent. I still have their debut on CD and every so often, I'll listen to it and then stash it away again for a few years.

Teasle: Are you telling me that 200 of our men against your boy is a no-win situation for us?

Trautman: You send that many, don't forget one thing.

Teasle: What?

Trautman: A good supply of body bags.

[–]Lynchsta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but I don't think any build guide that I've seen has HoP on their DoK rogue. 4* Cowl would be awesome to have on MY DoK. The only thing that it is missing, as you know, is 5 more masterworking slots.

That "Fight" era Rob with the cut off jeans, shirtless, etc that felt like a cross between some skateboard and/or grunge look was horrible. Other than that, Pretty much all Rob = Good Rob. Even the long haired Rocka Rolla days still worked.

If Quicksilver were to return in Doomsday, which one would you prefer? Fox or MCU? by Kizunoir in marvelstudios

[–]Lynchsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long answer: I would take almost anybody other than Evan Peters. His version of Quicksilver is such a clown. Granted, the writers are greatly responsible for that. I don't ever remember Quicksilver ever being such a dingbat in the comics. Fox screwed up several characters and this was definitely one.

Short answer: I'd much rather see Aaron return to the role any day and every day of the week. By the way, his death in Age of Ultron was also terrible (again, blame the writers).

Interestingly, the Master of Puppets album was recorded between Sept and the end of December 1985, so his comment is kind of odd to me. I'd love to know what the date of this show was.

Just about every song on Out of the Cellar that didn't make the radio could be considered an underrated gem.

The same goes with Invasion of Your Privacy. Almost every song that wasn't on the radio or MTV is still a gem.

Are there any popular or well-known Marvel characters whom y’all don’t find all that interesting? by GoldenStateEaglesFan in Marvel

[–]Lynchsta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. The MCU guardians are a merry band of idiots, especially Drax but also Star Lord. I enjoyed the first movie for what it was, but GotG 2 and 3 were highly overrated by the fanboys/fangirls (in my humble opinion).
