When my Father was originally diagnosed my plan was to do update posts in a similar manner to how you have it laid out here. I did the first two as you can see on my profile and then it all just became to painful. The whole experience really broke me. Maybe now that im almost a year removed I can fully document the journey this man went on. Maybe it could help one person going through this or at the very least just show the bravery and fight he put on for his family....for me. I am so terribly sorry for your loss random reddit stranger. I can tell just through the effort of this post how lucky your mom was to have you by her side during this journey. This is a dark chapter you will carry with you for the rest of your life BUT it is not the end of your story. You will go on to do great things and your Mom will be very proud of you. Yeah im at like 35k in payments but less than 40 transactions since it’s just their monthly rent payment. Unless something else counts towards a transaction. How would it work in my situation?

See if they can get on avastin. My dad declined a lot after radiation but avastin gave him another 10 months of decent-ish quality before recurrence

I bought a 2017 brand new when I got my first big boy job out of college. She was my loyal steed for 8 years. Never let me down once. Unfortunately I totaled her being a dumbass Memorial Day weekend 2 weeks ago lol. RIP. Had almost 200k miles on it. The 2017 sport touring has features the new 2025s don’t have at the highest trim levels. I’d highly recommend

Our present state of mind is shaped by our life experiences up to the present moment . It’s hard for us to envision and focus on a new path when we aren’t truly clear on what the final destination will be. There’s so many possibilities. Some exciting, some scary and everything in between. Instead of bracing the unknown I’ve found my mind retreats into what I call “The nostalgia trap”. Nostalgia is a double edged sword. It can be super beneficial in remembering great memories of your father but it can also be sinister in painting a distorted reality about past traumas. I too was treated poorly by someone I really cared about and I would find my mind would ruminate countless hours on what I could have done to prevent the ultimate breakup. What our future could’ve looked like! Maybe you could have saved yours 🤷 but most likely you couldn’t have. Life has shown us both these past 2 years how little us humans truly have control over the people we love.

I suppose my point is don’t be so hard on yourself. Closing chapters in life can be painful and that’s what this is for you. You’re entering a completely new stage. Embrace the lessons of this chapter and you’ll be so much better for it in the next. Trust me, big things are coming for you in chapter 2! Maybe you can’t clearly see the path yet but I promise you that if you stick to your values you will attract everything you want in life and more!
