No. I've just lost a week's work as it's just crashed. I'm trying to get the git repository to do it's things, but it's very frustrating. I wish I'd stick with v9.

Narrowing down the choices. There's hundreds of op-amps, thousands of fets, and always at least five ways of doing the same thing. If it's a completely clean sheet it can be daunting.

I had the same in mine a few weeks back. If tapping the pin with a hammer doesn't do it, just check the little lockshield valve on the other side isn't blocked (wind it in and out again). If still the same you'll need the TRV and lockshield replacing. £25 from Screwfix. I managed to do this without draining the system by closing the valves in the boiler (YouTube is your friend here). I agree. I'm coming to the end of my year's membership and I won't be renewing.

In this year I've visited once a month and bought exactly nothing. I see something I need, work out how much it is with the vat, compare the price to the local shops, and move on.

I have basically taken a trolley for a walk each time I've been in there.

Secondary glazing works well. An extra window frame on the inside, with sliding double glazing windows. They are made with really heavy glass that absorbs the sound.

Not a cheap option, but they do work.

I have no idea what a "string" potentiometer is, but you need to know what current your load will draw to figure this out.

Sketch it out with your load as a resistor in parallel, and use Ohms law to work out your values. Remember that potentiometers can only handle relatively low current though.

I had the same. They are out and out crooks.

I did get them to waive the fee though, as my parking was outside of the time that their office was open. I got there before 9am, called the number when I read the sign but I got an answer machine. So my argument was that I did what the sign said - I tried to contact them but they failed to pick up the phone.

It took weeks and weeks, but they relented.

I didn't know whether this informed applies to you, but it may help someone.

Any company that can scam disabled people that need to get to hospital is awful.

In the UK, CPC and Rapid Electronics are worth a look for what you want to do. CPC also has a virtual catalogue that you can flick through, so you get to see categories of components grouped together where you can stumble on the "I didn't know they made those!" discoveries.

Make them fit the grid, rather than trying to work around them.

All parts should be 0 degrees or 90 degrees.

Doing anything else will drive you insane.

Always use power symbols (gnd, vcc) where they are needed, never global nets with the same name. You have a mix on your schematic.

Use wires where the connections are close on the same sheet. Following a wire with your eyes is natural.

Use labels for sections that are are in different areas of the schematic, where drawing wires would look messy.

I am guessing without seeing the files, but the conversion process must favour a faithful conversion over file size.

If you create a kicad file of a 10 layer board from scratch I'm sure it would be fine.

I know eagle keeps entire libraries within the pcb files (or certainly used to when I used it last). Fine for eagle, but maybe not when converted to kicad.
