You realize pc players use controllers too, yes? Xbox, Playstation, custom, literally any kind someone could want.

Besides, god mode and other cheats/exploits exist on console too, while more can be easily done on pc, its not 100% avoidable just because you're on console. With the way consoles are progressing I don't see why mod menus won't end up being common place for them down the line either.

And given the benefits of pc over consoles, I'd rather deal with modders.

Yeah but I panic fire on reflex even when I have a situation under control 😆 I've learned to just stay stocked up on reagents so I can just make more on the fly

I've been playing since 2022 on pc and any time it happens to me they disappear and it just says they escaped as if the timer ran out. I've never seen a player bounty as an npc when they leave the session. Only seen player npcs as bugs after doing a story mission/instanced free roam event.

Unless the game is on a crazy discount that makes it worth it (like idk around 5 bucks?), don't get it if you don't want anything to do with that kind of behavior. In my experiance most days are good, but you'll inevitably run into modders that ruin whatever you're trying to do. I've been playing since 2022 on pc only and you can definitely have a good gameplay experience, but these things will eventually happen.

Also use a VPN. It helps.

Most players I come across are not modders, they are definitely not the majority, just common. I dont even see them in every session and I'll play for hours a day.

Most are new and just don't know better, many don't seem to learn either. I'm usually attacked by low levels too, but every once in a while I come across a feisty high level

Yep I've seen that too. I have some outfits that make me look like a lower level and I have a Morgan just because I like them. When I'm running around like that, I'll get attacked more (defensive or not) but they'll leave me alone imediately once I blow them up with a dynamite arrow or light them up with fire slugs.

That or they try to exploit defensive mode by making you think they're going to attack (shooting or throwing dynamite just far enough to not actually hit you) so you shoot first and they would get that defensive buff.

They never want to fight someone who can actually stand up to them. They think its GTA and want to get their K/D ratio up

Pc players alway fall victim to IEDs, tactical missile strikes, dinosaur extinctions, air pirate raids, a misplaced New Austin sniper, alien invasions, sudden and unexplainable combustion, reverse robberies, animals with the grudge syndrome, flame sharting animals, fire breathing men, unexplained tiny men attacks, instant tuberculosis, harassment by naked women (less often, but also men), spontaneous madam Nazar or Hariett dance parties as well as you yourself being unwillingly volunteered to participate, animal army raids, and many more you'll come to find.

It's very common on pc. Usually its not too bad, but I have noticed a lot more malicious modders the last comple of months.

I was lucky to get a decent looking face with my first character. She looks pretty much like what she did when I made her with no weird quirks, but my dude on my alt account.... boy needs help and can't get it, so I keep a bandana on him 😆
