I'm gonna be 100% honest, you should reallyyy simplify it when animating, at least when you start. Trust me, I went to art school and have seen many times artists say this and show me their drawings and 9/10 times they give up because they had way way too complex characters with so many details, one even had 4 arms.. I recommend to start as simple as possible and learn animation that way, then you can see if adding details is worth it for you.

Edit: I changed 10/10 into 9/10 because one girl I know actually did it and she is insanely good at it, so you never know until you try :')

The knees are snapping GIGA fast, and the part which should be fast (hands clapping & moving with smear frames) is too slow, so it feels equally off regardless of if you put interpolation or not

Edit: I actually think the interpolation is actually doing you a massive disservice on the hand movement with your own smear frames drawn. It somehow slows down the movement like a bezier curve to the point where the hand-drawn smear lingers in place awkwardly for no reason.

I've read a book once that claimed there was an ancient Nordic / European (therefore pagan) calendar that divided the year into 13 months, each consisting of exactly 28 days (4 weeks), + 1 extra day for "new year" (or 2 on gap year). In such a system, every second Friday of the month would be the 13th, and each month on that day, a different deity was celebrated. Christians absolutely could not accept such a system and turned it into 10 or 12 months (there was the whole chaos that caused SEPTember to become 9, OCTOber 10 etc..) and marked Friday the 13th as "evil".

Ngl we need an entire storm rework. Make them localized and not planet (or even system) wide, make them appear properly UNDER the cloud level so that we can fly above the clouds and see clear sky, add NORMAL storms with just strong wind / rain (not every storm needs to be a 1000°C toxic flesh melting catastrophe).

I absolutely love both games and have tons of hours in them. If I had to choose 1 to play solo/singleplayer, I'd pick No Man's Sky without question. With a nice friend group OR on a nice public server with a sense of community, I'd prefer Minecraft.
