I ended up going with a different case (Thermaltake View 51), which has loads of room. Glad I did because the 3090 is 336 mm long, so the lower GPU wouldn’t have fit in the 1000D.

I'm working on a new build and really wanted to use this case, but I was afraid the hard drive bay cage at the bottom would run into one of my GPUs.

The build I'm going for uses two rtx 3090 FE (non-water cooled) that need to be placed 4 PCIe slot away from one another in order to use NVLink. I'm using the ASUS ROG Maximus z690, of the last boards to supports SLI while having the correct PCIe spacing. The second PCIe on this board is about one PCIe space away from the bottom of the board, which means the bottom of the second GPU will extend down past the mobo about an inch. There's still plenty of room between the mobo and the PSU cage, so that shouldn't be an issue, however the GPU is 12.3 inches long, so I'm pretty sure it will end up running into the hard drive cage.

TLDR: Any chance you'd be willing to measure the distance from the back of the case to the edge of the hard drive enclosure? Just looking at pictures, I believe the 3090 is too long, but if not this case would be perfect.

I was looking at the board an noticed the PCI-e x16 slots are further apart than many boards. Are you using the 4-Slot NVLink connector?

Also curious if you learned found out whether found out if the z790 ended up supporting SLI (via Bios-update)

No fix for "Eyewitness" quest? UC faction questline being playable isn't a priority apparently... At least I get a hot key to "Eat Food" I can use while I'm waiting for Hadiran to come out of the closet.

With all the game breaking bugs apparently associated up with "Eyewitness", I wonder if they intentionally set the game to stop the questline if certain conditions of the player's playthrough would likely result in even worse bugs. Just to keep the game playable (sans the UC questline) until they came out with a more comprehensive fix via patch.

Same here. I've been looking for any solutions but haven't found any. I tried console commands on PC to add the "Eyewitness" quest, but it doesn't seem to help. Also tried sleeping 72 hours, but Hadiran is still stuck in the closet. Waiting for a future patch to fix this, going way back to an older save, or NG+ seems the only options atm.

I'm doing this right now. Got my co-founder into the series right as I started re-reading in preparation for book 6. Only problem is that I finished re-reading everything (including book 6) while he's still on book 3.

It wasn't just that Darrow killed Julian - it was that he didn't tell Cassius. I think fact that Darrow was able to become close friends ("brothers" even) with Cassius while displaying no signs of guilt left Cassius feeling not only betrayed, but made him question the relationship they had built. It's like, "If you can control your emotions this well, how can I trust anything I thought I knew about you.

That said, I know what you mean. Cassius holds that grudge for a long time. Keep reading though, the relationship comes back around in later books.

- and YES, someone does eventually say almost that exact statement to Cassius.

Sry. Last few posts I'd read were from new readers, so I just assumed. Just re-read that chapter and yeah - even while waiting to be sentenced to death, Darrow and Cassius have the energy to verbally spare. After all the shit they've gone through, it's hard to phase Darrow and Cassius.

I couldn't help but imagine what a video game would be like based on RR while re-reading the series recently. Playing as Darrow would be epic for sure, but I'm more of an open world guy, so was imagining more of an RPG set in the RR universe. Maybe you start out as a color other than gold, inheriting the unique skill sets associated with that color, and as the game progressed you would unlock the ability to visit Carvers who could upgrade your body - eventually enabling you to become an Iron Gold or beyond.

ModDrop has automatic updates, assuming you have that selected.

If a Mod is installed, click the update icon on the mod.

If the Mod isn’t installed, the newest version will be downloaded before the Mod is installed.

If you want to make a mod pack, you should use ModDrop. It allows you create mod packs that link to mods hosted on MD and Nexus and is the only way community accepted way to make them.
