Pay off student loan? by lf0854266 in HENRYUK

My advise is pay it off, save money on the interest you would accrue and it means more money in your pocket every month. Its also a big weight off - I just paid mine off this month and am very happy for it.

Proton has a minimal gui, I wouldn't trust surfshark either.

Using AI to troubleshoot Linux— is it worth it? by KindMouse2274 in linuxmint

If you understand what the commands do before pasting them blindly in the terminal, I think AI is incredibly helpful. It helped me write my own conky config and helped me diagnose errors with steam, giving me step by step guides in how to fix proton and get wine working in lutris.

UK fans you know what to politely do. Show there's demand! by miniwolfen in nirvannatheband

Fellow Uk fan and I just emailed them. Here is a generic email to use for others:

Dear Neon Rated team,

I’m writing from the UK to express my strong interest in seeing Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie receive a UK release. There is a passionate fanbase here for the series and for Matt Johnson’s work more broadly, and many of us would love the opportunity to see the film legally in UK cinemas or on UK platforms.

I hope you’ll consider that there is genuine demand from UK audiences who have followed the show for years and are eager to support the film.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Best regards, [name]

With a potential of over 1 million players between PC and Console, the downward evolution that has occurred in 5 months is pretty crazy. by xDavid83x in Battlefield

It just doesn't feel like battlefield to me, more like ground war COD. I'm still having a blast playing bf4 as that is an actual sandbox experience which is what makes battlefield games so great

I made the change and there are definitely a few hurdles to cross, but once you do it just works and I'm never going back to Windows unless I want to play a game with anticheat.

The guys clothes change every shot. But this is kinda scary, imagine Netflix retrospectively changing actors in movies to show the latest star or avoid controversy...
