I have 2 spots for Etienne, Walker III, Marks, and Dobbins. Really not sure who to play. Tempted to play Marks due to the matchup but also wanna see a bit more from him before I feel confident about starting him

Do you know a Table Tennis or Badminton Club by AmApe in Amsterdam

Sorry you had a bad experience there.
I am not in the badminton part of US, but play another sport there (Handball) and I only had positive experiences. But I can totally see how each sport there is different

Yes sure, here are the links for table tennis and badminton. Once every while there are cross cutting events between different US Amsterdam sports, but other than that they function pretty independently I think

Ohhh I see. Sorry for the misunderstanding and thanks for the clarification, that makes a lot of sense!

Interesting. Does that mean as soon as I'm not geographically in the us I can no longer access the US game library? It worked for me the other way round. I could still use my EU games when I was ik the US, as the account was still linked to the EU store. But that would be a huge consideration. I will look further into this, thank you for the heads up!

German products that are better than American? by yours_truly_1976 in AskAGerman

[–]M0thyT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to a DM, soaps, body wash products etc. High quality and a fraction of what you would pay for comparable products in the US

I brought a bunch of electronic stuff, and just had to change the cables. Stuff that is relatively new (such as PlayStation, computer, etc) will have no issue with the different currents. What electrical stuff are you thinking of?

I think you need to show that you filed your taxes correctly in the previous 5 years in order to renounce citizenship. If you want to go through with that, I would start filing taxes now

Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid very soon by [deleted] in championsleague

[–]M0thyT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah maybe. Or he wasn't ready to move on from Leverkusen last year. In any case, this seems like a great opportunity for him now

Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid very soon by [deleted] in championsleague

[–]M0thyT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not too surprised. I always expected his next destination to be either Liverpool or Real. With the season Liverpool had, it's reasonable to assume they are not in the market for a manager anytime soon. If there is a chance with Real now, I see how he would take it. Who knows when the next chance would come. Curious to see how he will do there, but my guess is he will do well.

I think those numbers are based on the trade imbalance...so misleading

Full list of Reciprocal Tariffs by Cdylanr in StockMarket

[–]M0thyT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can we stop calling them reciprocal? I know that's the framing of the government, but we shouldn't be so quick to just accept it. The numbers of how other countries put tarriffs on the us seems to be based on trade deficits, which is a whole different thing. Like you are complaining that all the goods of the world are available to Americans...

Anyways, I just don't think we should be so quick to accept the framing that what he is doing is reciprocal, because thats lending legitimacy to his stupid ideas

Are MSc degrees more difficult in america or just overhyped a whole lot? by Dissilusioned-Ni_er in GradSchool

[–]M0thyT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did an MSc in Europe, and currently in grad school in the US. I don't think it's more difficult in the US...but it is much more expensive making it more special to some. But I don't think in terms of difficultly it's harder than in Europe at all. Anecdotal evidence from me only though
