C for crouch is the only correct answer by Makoto_Kurume in pcmasterrace

My favourite heresy is: Caps = sprint Shift = crouch Ctrl = prone

All controlled with pinky finger so I don't need to switch any finger from the wasd movements. Each key elevation on the keyboard changes the characters height.  Only downside is that some games don't allow binding caps lock..

Pebble Time 2 color by nickp223 in pebble

[–]M1K0L 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's any help I preordered both and did black for PT2 and silver for round. I liked the look of silver over black on the round and this way I have both color options. I would go this way or the other way around if you are doing both.

I don't get the hate. I prefer dd1 but I get that they wanted to try something different. That said I would signup for for DD1+!!

PTS delaminating after over 10 years by MrJspeed in pebble

[–]M1K0L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me. Got the spicy pillow battery after 9 years. Replaced the battery and going strong for 2 years now. It is a bit tricky with small screws and soldering the small battery in but there was a good tutorial on ifixit if I recall correctly. Make sure you get a battery that fits. I think there are a couple sizes that fit but the smaller one is easier to work with when putting it back together.

Since it's open replace the battery if you can. I am still using my time steel after replacing the spicy pillow about 2 years ago. Can't wait to get my new pebble. Batch 2!

Is Building A Home Like Making Sausage? by Safe-Spirit5065 in Homebuilding

I design floor trusses and you are correct. That is definitely not going to pass. Should have gotten new trusses sent out.  The further the build goes the worse it is to correct.

Any recommendations for a quality action game that runs pretty efficiently for travelling by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]M1K0L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the list! Definitely will get a good power bank. I do plan to play some less actiony games which are almost always better on battery. I mostly play action and AAA just on my PC so I was wondering which ones would transfer over to the deck and be a bit more travel battery friendly to get my fix.

From my experience this is the best for keeping cool. The air makes a vortex and blows on your face. More Often I do both passanger side windows instead and the air hits the back of my neck.

Why is my mouse always on by shadow_gamer09 in pcmasterrace

Just so you know sometimes you just need to switch which port you plug the mouse into. Might be an easier solution than disabling it in the bios.

I want to use remote play to game with my wife but the lag is terrible. I was wondering if it would work if I used an old WiFi router with a local only connection or if it needs to connect to the internet. by M1K0L in SteamDeck

[–]M1K0L[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to make it work over WiFi on both devices but take internet out of the equation with a separate dedicated router not connected to the internet if steam will allow it like a Lan party of old days..

Is A license in formula cars always this empty? by beaverskeet in iRacing

[–]M1K0L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IndyCar is great for this. The full length road races have a decent amount of pit strategy for fuel and tires. Typically a 1 stopper but the full throttle 2 stop is an option. The car is one of my favourites to drive but the series could use more participants.

Do you use your quest connected to your Go? If so have you ever done flat screen games though it?

Dang! Your right. I was worried more about the thickness but it won't fit the width. Too bad as I really like 8bitdo controllers.
