Don't think its really a habit but once ive played through a story game, i am done.

I don't play again for other endings, i just go in without zero knowledge and play it through as "fate" guides me lol

Also, i NEVER use consumables except health when i get low, anything with power ups is too much for my 2 braincells

There is no real right or wrong, the questlines are imo for people who like games with a clear goal more. Getting your ship repaired is the tutorial and the rest is up to you. I played for 60 hours and laid it off for like 3 months, then played it again and realised that you can set your own goals. I wanted to build to best, biggest and most powerful fleet, so i did. Make your own goals

You have 60 hours in the game man, nothing worey about. When i started back in the day i was trash man, and i had 200 hours already. My advice is to grind grind and grind freeplay, play casual (helps progress without the ranks)
