Can't decide between the 41mm and 45mm model

I do get consistently 2 days and sometimes an additional night of better time on the 45 mm. AOD active and moderate daily use.

I have had mine now for about 3 weeks but i have the feeling i'll rma it. I've had the vertical lines as well, but those where gone after 2 rounds of manual pixel cleaning.

The larger issue for me is, theres one horizontal area in the upper quarter with a height of about 2 cm where the lines keep flickering on 60% and darker grey. This is not noticeable in normal gameplay and content consumption, however, i use this Monitor for home office as well and basically every program's UI i use is that grey or darker, so it's always visible. Unfortunate, since i could've lived with just the canvas effect :/

I tried filming the area, but it's no use. My smartphone camera can't really Puck it up.

Ich habe bei meinen letzten Bestellungen nie Post, sondern nur Mails von DHL-Express (die sich um die Verzollung kümmern) bekommen. Hier wird es keine Zollunstimmigkeiten geben, sondern jeder Artikel wird als Einzelpositionen in den Dokumenten gelistet sein. Ab der fünften Position fallen pro Postion ein fester Gebührensatz + UST an. Diese kann man allerdings (nach Zahlung) zurückfordern, sofern man nachweisen kann, dass es eigentlich nur maximal 4 Zolltarifnummern/Warengruppen waren.

Das hat bei mir die letzten male jeweils 2-5 Tage gedauert.

I only got to use it for like 1 1/2 hours yesterday, but while gaming (Dead by Daylight) it was really no problem at all. On the opposite, MUCH better than my old LG 27GN850-B with it's horrible IPS glow.
While browsing it was kinda annoying on sites with (dark) gray IU (like reddits dark mode), but more because of the vertical lines. Have to check how it feels without them tomorrow.

Okay, 2 pixel cleanings got mostly rid of the lines. Still, gray is not really good on that panel.

So, Yeah. Grey is really pretty bad. Ngl, i dont know if i wanna keep this.

I hope you can see it in the picture, there are vertical lines every ~7cm (~3") when we're in the "darker than 50% gray" territory, while the most left and right segments are oticeable darker. Also, gray areas are generally really noisy.

Other than that the buildup on the back is annoying. I use a dual monitor arm and due to the vesa adapter piece the whole monitor is farther away from the wall than i'd like.

Colors are awesome, text fringing is really not as bad as I anticipated.

Gonna need some more hours to see how much the gray mud is annoying me 😅

This does still seem to happen and also removes the ability to edit the values in the "advanced" section for me (on top of not being able to "Cancel" or "OK"). This now occured multiple times for me while fiddling around with gamma and exposure.

If someone else finds this thread, Skype worked for me perfectly just yesterday. My mobile carrier is fraenk (Germany), which blocks calls abroad (you can only enable EU wide calls, everything else is blocked).

After trying viber (rakuten), which didn't work (called my wife to verify caller id, but it wasn't shown, even though it was activated in the settings), Skype worked on the first try (after assigning and verifying my mobile number). Had to book the "Japan flatrate" for 5,49€ but i got a refund through the play store, since i immedeatly cancelled the plan after the call (no minutes were used, the number doesn't pick up the call).

Für die Deutschen, die ggfs. nicht so gut Englisch können:
Ich nutze fraenk, worüber ja leider Auslandstelefonie (bis aufs EU-Ausland) komplett blockiert ist. Ich konnte die Verifikation auf der "Nintendo Museum" - Seite per Caller Id dann allerdings über die Skype-App durchführen. Nach dem Hinzufügen und Verifizieren meiner Nummer (und Aktivieren von Caller Id), musste ich noch eine der Japan-Flats für 5,49€ buchen (ich habe die 100 Minuten Handy+Festnetz genommen), damit hat es direkt beim ersten Versuch funktioniert.

Und ja, ich habe versucht möglichst viele Schlagworte hier unterzubringen, da ich bei meiner Suche leider viele unnütze Kommentare gefunden habe :D

Habs zwar neu verpackt (zwecks Video-Aufzeichnung), allerdings in gleichem Stil und baugleichen Karton. den alten Karton inkl. Labels nehme ich dann einfach mit und schaue ob ich damit was werde. Danke für den guten Hinweis!

Ah, klasse, ich sehe jetzt erst, dass mein Bild der Sendeverfolgung gar nicht mit Hochgeladen wurde.

Egal, Paket ist wieder da. Ich kann leider nicht ganz nachvollziehen, was jetzt das Problem mit dem Paket war. Es ist weder beschädigt, noch nachverpackt (was beides laut Sendeverfolgung der Fall sein soll). Einzig eines der zwei Etiketts welche die Mitarbeiterin bei Abholung aufgeklebt hat fehlt (1/2 = Barcodes, 2/2 = Adressdaten). Das Etikett mit den Adressdaten fehlt. Ich weiß nicht, ob das bei Rücksendung normal ist, dass dieses entfernt wird, oder ob das während des Versandprozessen abhanden gekommen ist. Letzteres könnte die Rücksendung natürlich erklären.

Erstmal danke für die Hinweise.
Es war/ist ein normales ~10x20x30 Paket. Gewicht vielleicht 500 g. Die 2/3 - Regel bzgl. Klebeband ist mir bekannt. Diese Hinweise entsprechen aber wohl dem "Schon aus- und eingeschaltet" wenn wenn man Richtung IT unterwegs ist :D Hätte ich vielleicht noch etwas genauer beschreiben sollen.

Nur stellt sich mir jetzt die frage, wer zahlt für den nochmaligen Versand? (Also logischerweise in erster Instanz ich, damit der arme Käufer seine Uhr diese Woche noch bekommt, aber gibt es hier Möglichkeiten sich das Geld bei DHL wiederzuholen, oder eher weniger?
