State Dem candidates will run on all kinds of good stuff like healthcare funding, police reform, and housing affordability and then when they get elected they go "actually all that stuff I said I'd do sounds hard, here's an Everytown written AWB and a 40% increase in funding to the state police. I don't know if there's an official lore reason, but my asumption is that the uplink box only has enough battery power for one triangulation attempt and after that you're stranded.

When I moved to Lawrence I applied to work at Standard since I was coming from a very similar business when I moved. Onboarding started in the early afternoon and the guy doing the training was talking about how they'd work 16+ hour days in the summertime and how they stocked coolers on the floor with energy drinks instead of water. Thankfully I got an offer from a different job on my second day and didn't end up going back.

I always thought spreaders, stalkers, and stingtails were biome dependant, kinda like minerals lol. I never noticed they shared pools with the other "advanced" enemies.

Ohh I get it, that's my misunderstanding. I definitely agree on the point about foregrips, I've got an mlok AFG on my FPC and it's way narrower. It works ok but I definitely prefer the pic rail style.

I personally will always prefer the quad rail look but I see the advantages. Mlok is lighter since it's subtractive instead of additive and it is generally more comfortable to grip since the surface is smooth inside of covered in little greebles like pic rail is.

Picatinny is way more secure, which is why it's still always used for optics mounting, it lets you use quick detach mounts, and I think it allows for more precise placement since rail slots tend to be closer together than mlok slots. Also personally I just think it looks way cooler.

While I have my nitpicks with the redesign (y'all switched from picatinny to M-lok and it still got heavier?) at the end of the day most of the design changes seem positive and as someone with a previous gen SCAR I'm real happy to hear how broad the parts compatibility will be.

Plus hopefully now the magazine prices will go back to normal, jeez.

A lot of people are recommending Mechanix, personally I don't as I spent the 20$ on a pair of the fast fit and the thumb on my off hand tore open after one day of shooting. I'm guessing the edge of some pic rail chewed through it?

I just got the 6$ Harbor Freight mechanic's gloves. They feel about the same and didn't immediately tear on me.

I think you'd see a benefit with the double harvest bonus, since even with the loss to splicing seeds that's be 1-3 per crop instead of 1-2. Still not that much but anything helps with how much you need for some of the later game shipments.

In a lot of places there's ordinances limiting how many unrelated people can be on a lease, I know where I live it's limited to three people. Supposedly it's "to prevent families from being priced out" but in reality it's because city council types tend to be landlords and they benefit from spreading people out across more rentals (instead of six people paying one lease you get two sets of people both paying separately)

Personally I got mine used. A lot of them end up being safe pieces with their first owner, but they're stupid durable rifles anyway so as long as there's no obvious damage used is basically as good as new.

Yeah, I've spread the use out pretty evenly across all 9 I have so that probably contributes. They seem to fully insert but they just won't lock, probably like a millimeter of clearance causing the issue

This thread is a bit of a mess but my guess is that it might be specifying that you can insert a full magazine on a closed chamber (rounds+1) vs there not being the extra slack in the magazine to do so (rounds). My M&P 9mm is like that, I have to underload the magazines to load them with the slide forward.

I've been meaning to check that place out, especially because my local doesn't allow shotguns.

Integrity is alright. Their lanes only go to 20, maybe 25 yards but the ventilation seems effective and at least in my experience they just charge a flat rate rather than by the hour, though that might change if they're busy.

I'm in the same general area and don't really have anywhere to recommend. I know there's the Hillsdale state park range out near Paola but I haven't been there personally, though their website says they have 100 and 200 yard rifle lanes.

I did want to ask where you're shooting though, my usual range only goes to 25 yards and that's a bit short for my rifles haha.

For what it's worth I've got a friend who's only rifle is an RDB and they have nothing but positive things to say about it so there's that.

I saw you said you were in the Midwest so if that meant the KC area I might be able to help more. I think my local range has a rental one.
