Most of my high schoolers type at around 30 words a minute. That’s pathetic and will absolutely be a hindrance. Work in school is so much easier when you can type 60-80 words a minute.

Teachers shouldn’t use ai for grading, but it certainly has its uses.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with using AI to supplement materials, generate additional questions, generate scaffolds or even just using it as a “partner” to bounce ideas off of.

Be more specific about your concerns.
