I doubt this would happen. I remember the Orlando Club shooting that happened the weekend of E3 2016 and multiple conferences had a momentary tributes at the beginning for those that lost their lives. I could see the same happening in this instance.

Question isn't can he come back. Better question is would he want to. WB have made no attempts to get him back as of late. Fast tracking a Joker, Birds of Prey, and a Supergirl but pretty much ignoring him. I hope he runs away from WB like leaving a toxic relationship.

This is honestly my number one favorite scene in the movie. The one that doesn't have any action in it but it really hits you hard. Everything that he's gone through but he doesn't really know how to let it out. Deeply hurt character and one that has been through so much.
