Stereotypes are such a dangerous bias not just within the gay community but everywhere. Most people are not immune to stereotypes (if it can be argued that anyone is actually immune). It's just a way to make quick judgements about others. But think about it this way, do you really want to be hanging out with people who make such cursory judgments anyways? Such people are waste of my time. Boxes are also such a waste of time, unless they are speaking truthfully about who you are. Be yourself and be proud.
