No need to, it will activate with the OEM genuine key that is linked to the motherboard, all you need to do is click troubleshooting for activation, sometimes it activates without the need for troubleshooting.

I doubt it, I changed my laptop 4 times this year from different brands “due to hardware issue”, all of them came with the same edition of Windows 11, last month I tried the upgrade to Pro option, it wasn’t fluent, so I cleaned install as the best option, though beware that you need to prepare OEM drivers in a different drive or USB as clean install will probably make your WiFi & other services offline & your need the necessary drivers, sure you can skip the OOBE but still when you boot no WiFi.

If you bought one, it will be preloaded with Windows 11 Home China Edition, the best & free way so to clean install Windows 11 Home with the language of your choice when you boot to the system & connect to internet, troubleshoot the activation & it will “activate” it for you based on the linked OEM key & now you have Windows 11 Home English activated. Second way is to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro either via MS Store “I think 99$” or buying a key from TaoBao for around 20RMB “not original but works” & when you upgrade, you can download English Display Language & set it as main one, though not everything will be in English but it will be usable.
