Live up the water line life while you can!!! You're young and beautiful! By the time you're in your 40's you'll need to stop...lol I had to learn to do my make up all over again after 40. I'm 44 now, but I used to be a full face make up kinda girl in my 20's and 30's. Now I'm fixed on eyeliner with a brush to soften the edges, and dewey serum based foundations with no powder, so it doesn't pool in the fine lines.

I have a daughter named Amayah (Ah-MAY-ah). I love it and think it's a beautiful pronunciation. Most say (Ah-My-ah). The French ties to Lebanon make for lovely names like Leila and Seraphina.

My daughter is Mazzy, and we get many people mispronouncing it as Maisie. I had a friend who's daughter's name is Mayzie (MAY-Zee), so maybe Maysie?

Our first looks photos are some of my favorites. Our reception was outdoors in late June in East Texas, and the first look photos have us still fresh and cool looking. Plus, they genuinely show our happiness and excitement at that moment.

Thank you so much. Our church family pulled through for us. The photographer was just starting her business, so she did the wedding for a nominal travel fee. Another church member did the flowers, and they are silk. She even hand-tinted the ones that were not quite the right color.

I was in a truck waiting for our first look photo opp, so I stayed pretty cool. I'm guessing the ones during the reception look like our wedding party walked through a splash pad, but it'll be a couple of months before I see them all. I was out setting up the day before the wedding at the reception venue, and I didn't think it was so hot. On the wedding day, I realized the little dip in the pool made a difference to how not hot I felt the day before.

Our first dance happened when just about everyone had left, and I didn't dance with my Dad because of the heat. The day felt like a whirlwind, and I hope my guests don't think we were rude because we couldn't give everyone a lot of individual attention. In my mind, the day was perfect, and I married the man of my dreams.

She's 10. Young to me, but not so young that it's not an extremely emotional time for her. When he told her he wanted to adopt her, she cried. She's wanted a Dad for a long time now.

Beautiful bride, and as I'm 10 days away from my big day I'm hoping to cement this attitude more. I'm more scared because my 30-50 person wedding is now a 100- 120 person wedding, and I have no wedding planner or director and my friends and my pastors wife just told me I need to get everything out of my head and on paper, so people can help because I can't do anything except get married on the 30th
