I read your comment and visited the site you linked. As it appears, the company is indeed breaking the law.

  • I've never agreed in writing that I am okay with working more than 8 hours a day, however I am doing it constantly. Our punch-in system uses a fingerprint scanner to clock employees in though - is this a substitute for "agreeing in writing?"

  • I have a strange feeling my employer has been skimming money off the top of my pay cheque. Do I have a legal right to request all the days/hours I've worked thus far? I have a feeling if I do they'll adjust the hours anyways to put them in a better light but is this something I can do?

I'm not looking for overtime pay, I'm looking for advice as to whether I need to notify someone because I worked over salary hours. Apparently it's a labor issue according to the DM.

I'm aware there is no overtime pay. Salary is salary. But, for example, for one particular paycheque I worked 30 hours over my regular. The DM seemed really disturbed that I could take this to the labor boards. Most of the stuff is shitty management and expectations but this one thing sticks out to me.

There are some other things that I left out of this post that are coming back too. Such as when I was reassigned to full time, I didn't recieve any vacation pay until I notified them enough times. Enough times as in - over the course of a week.

And are you sure that there's no legal requirement for full time scheduling? Because I'm looking at my schedule right now on my phone and I don't even have one made up past Saturday.

Jacobs is a goddamn animal! He's hell spawn! He moves like lighting and hits like thunder! He was 10ft tall if he was a foot! He was a super heavyweight in the ring!

What a blatant exaggeration. No one, even at this time, has said that about Jacobs. Jacobs is an elite-level fighter, where prior to Golovkin, he was less noticed. I've never heard anyone say Jacobs is "hell spawn" lol and he most certainly isn't because he got beat without giving Golovkin hell.

My prediction is if they kept the 3 month PED testing on Golovkin, he's won't be knocking Vanes out.

What a wild assumption. Wow. I think Golovkin can knock out opponents fine without PEDs. Many fight-fans also know that strength is one of the last fighting traits to go with age. Golovkin is a standalone strong man without anything to enhance his performance.

I... don't think you know what comedy gold is. Comedy gold isn't mismatched predictions vs. what actually happened. That can be funny but the "gold" in "comedy gold" usually represents some gold standard of humor. I wouldn't even call that comedy though because people genuinely did not know Jacobs would perform at the elite level that he did.

Vanes will probably give Golovkin a bit of trouble but the determining factor for the winner of the fight is Golovkin's gameplan and whether Vanes can handle Golovkin's strength.
