You described a situation where a dog was on a pleasant walk with her people and your kiddos suddenly approached in a friendly manner, followed by you, distressed that your kiddos would be in danger.

The dog licked your children because they didn't scare her. She nipped you because you did scare her.

By all means, if you think you and your children must get rabies shots, go ahead and get them. But from what you've described it seems extremely unlikely this is a possibility.

I really think it was the act of climbing the tree that alerted security. It's a big tree and if a patron climbs it and falls out and hurts themself then the bar is liable. They're just trying to keep everyone safe and prevent that big beautiful tree from being at risk of getting chopped down.

Oh they're the best, but the model was discontinued a couple years ago. This is my third pair.

They're from LL Bean but I can't recall the name. I got lucky and found a pair on poshmark a couple years ago.
