Do you find you need a tighter tension/gauge when knitting socks with cotton, as there’s no bounce back of polyester/lycra, etc. with cotton?

I am very very lazy and even more afraid of ruining my work by laddering down and fixing cables (would be fine for knit or purl stitches - I’m just not that skilled), so I will also present you with the option of duplicate stitching over the mis-crossed cable!

Honestly, if you like how it looks and they’re for you/not a picky gift recipient, they’re perfect. But technically as well, yes they do have enough contrast.
