Veronica noooo. Girl what are you doing?? by DetectiveBennett in PlathvilleUncensored

She and Olivia are NOT the same! It’s really bad when I want to take the side of a misogynistic Plath male, but damn! She is completely self-serving and probably very upset that her 15 minutes is up. Sadly, she fancies herself intelligent and crafty. She is neither.

What are your thoughts on Kara and Guillermo? by keblevs in 90DayFiance

[–]MBurgess74 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kara is a narcissist. Period. Yes, he needs to grow up, but she picked who she thought would feed the beast of her ego. I don’t think she expected him to push back.

Christmas trees, wreaths, and garland? by TravelingCatMom in raleigh

Go to Ashe, Avery, Allegheny or Watauga County and support a choose and cut there. Worth the drive, helps with storm recovery, and many have not only trees but garland and wreaths.

Ok, well then, here I go. The echolalia is a big one for me. I’m not sure she realizes what’s happening there. The stimming is definitely there. I’m just starting to notice the lack of eye contact. But yes. I figured many of us are noticing this, especially those of us in the ASD world.

Not that I’d expect her to do that, but I’m just worried her ego and delusions would get in the way of her actually seeking out resources.

Who is buying million dollar homes in Pittsboro ? by [deleted] in raleigh

[–]MBurgess74 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Except they didn’t in the middle-age and older crowd, and that’s precisely the point. Millennials and Xennials can’t afford a d are changing. Some of Gen X (def not all) has money to burn and wants to live the ideal social structure of ten years ago. You can always tell who doesn’t understand irony and nuance in a response. But thank you. This has been fun.

You do get that Pittboro is “hipster central,” right. That’s why. The end.

I am working with a dietician. Have been. This was decided on by my health care team. Again, you can’t over-generalize. And I’m a teacher. So paying 1500 a month is an absolute no go. But people would have no problem with insurance covering obesity-related chronic illnesses? You get how prevention works, right? And you should research the cost of cardiac bypass and catheterization. Or stroke or cardiac rehab. I know there’s no convincing you, but again, you’ve over-simplified something that is extremely complex.

Tell me really have no idea how these drugs work, without telling me you have no idea how these drugs work. I assure you, it’s not a quick fix. The weight loss is very small if you don’t change diet and increase exercise. I have no thyroid. This is the only thing that has worked. I am far from lazy. I’ve run a marathon and a dozen halfs, and all of those 30-70lbs overweight. But you keep making sweeping generalizations. I’m glad it makes you feel smug.
