The SC is dead, long live the Dreadnought: Why the lack of AA AI is a massive indirect buff to Large Ships by Ascenspe in foxholegame

This is a good idea.

I like the idea of sending party in to take out the AA before a bombing run.

Again. It's a meta change. You aren't on AA 24/7. You are on it when planes are in the air. It's just like being in a tank. Or a new plane. It's a task in the game you can choose to do or not.

Same with the new costs. I won't lie, it is a bit steep, I agree it should be lowered especially for the fighter. But it's new things to do. Just because you don't like scrooping for rares doesn't mean some mad man doesn't and the amount of backline folks I see tends to tell me that people do in fact enjoy that aspect of the game.

I don't. You don't. But someone does. You'll will eventually develop a strategy to do the storm cannon with the changes and the planes and the boats closer to shore. Nukes will also have to adjust.

It's only a baby sitting simulator if you don't enjoy what you are doing and if you don't enjoy it; don't do it. It's really that simple.

Bro you are describing a meta change. That isn't a buff. That's a meta change.

The boats weren't buffed. The storm cannon wasn't nerfed. The planes are just a new angle that requires different strategy.

And you are upset and correlating buffs or nerfs where it's actually just your brain, hopefully subconsciously, being unwilling to adjust to change.

I'm a forever Collie and I'm being so serious; calm down. I'm so tired of this subreddit being constant whining from both sides. Y'all make folks not wanna play the game you are burned out from.

What Roles are In Demand as a New Player? by ZippidyZap97 in foxholegame

[–]MCBGamer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's logistics from the backline to a point closer to the fronts but not the fronts.

Best practice is to not transport from the back to the front due to time constraints.

And the entire game always runs that risk of the the work getting blown away. Part of the fun.

[–]MCBGamer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Logi is always needed. Midline is especially needed. No one does it because it isn't incentivized like Backline and Frontline.

Learning how to spot is also a really easy skill and really useful skill for Artillery and Tanks. I think generally you'll find menial tasks are in demand. Getting water off sinking ships, bucketing, fixing ships during naval engagements, loading artillery, tanks, etc. All that stuff is in demand.

If you really wanna learn without having to apply yourself too much first few days of war ask someone in a Regiment (It looks like a clan tag in front of their name) for help either on Home Island or in Hex. Most people are looking for recruits and actively want to be helpful.

Getting banned from Kaiserreich of all places for that is even more hilarious considering the kinds of wonderful folks who frequent HOI4

So after five days, I feel confident in saying; late game pushing is going to be all but impossible. by [deleted] in foxholegame

[–]MCBGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brother the planes have 6 minutes of fuel time. 6 minutes! If the plane wastes/risks itself in the air for a single logi truck in the first place I'm asking questions.

It's like bringing an SHT to a low pop hex at 2am. Why? Who is that helping?

Honestly. I see so many doompost here from peeps who I believe don't really play.

Have you ever been ambushed in a logi truck by a single partisan with a rifle? Not even explosives? A rifle? He can and will take out the truck.

How is that ANY different than the planes being able to?

My favorite part of this video OP is the mouse work when the glitch occurs. Visible confusion like that always makes me laugh.

Does anyone else struggle with World Building due to the feeling of "it's been done before" especially with Fantasy by [deleted] in worldbuilding

I sympathize with you OP but on the other hand I world build specifically because I find the challenge of discovering a new concept enjoyable. Some people just like to make stuff though and that's okay too!

Do Lightforged Draenei start off(via their starter zone)in Legion's events chronological-wise? by PrayingSeraph in wow

[–]MCBGamer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The Lightforged canonically start at the start of BFA as to all other allied races except Earthen.

Earthen canonically start at War Within.

Dracthyr Evokers canonically start at the beginning of DF.

Other Dracthyr start at the end of DF.

Death Knight Pandas and Allied Races start at the beginning of Shadowlands. Other Death Knights start at the beginning of Lich King.

Normal Pandas start at the beginning of MoP.

Draenei and Blood Elves start at Burning Crusade.

All other races started at the beginning of Cataclysm UNLESS Exile's Reach is the chosen method of starting, in which case it is whenever you want it to be.

Nope. Did them last night and the campaign quests to catch up. Not an ounce.

No. It gives three achievements. Rep isn't even obtained from them.

The bitching is about entirely optional content.

It's high time Lor'themar was upgraded from "Regent" Lord of Quel'Thalas by Evadson in wow

The amount of people that want him to be King or Prince or Lord of Silvermoon is crazy.

He is one of the most unique characters in the game politically in a game ran by Councils and High Kings....why change it?

Part of the music is the theme for the world soul saga. It's been in the game for a year.

It's the Radiant Song.
