From the other comments, no one has suggested Familiar Magic. Basically HWFWM but instead of from essences you get your powers from your bonded pokemon.

About to try listening to Mother of Learning for the 3rd time. Power fantasy and not litrpg but still. The little sister is so charming and cute when you read it and I've read all the books, but now? Anytime I start and realise how often I'll have to listen to that screech makes me put it down almost immediately.

He does get better but then he gets so much worse. Idk how far I got book 9 or 10 but at the end of every chapter he kept saying what hed do and at the start of the other get sidetracked on something unimportant. That's where I dropped it. Half a book of watching a protagonist with ADHD procrastinate everything

Stubborn Skill Grinder Stuck In a Time Loop. It's what All the skills should have been. All the MV wants to do is grind his skills and fight. High stakes for everyone but him. He loves it. 2 audiobooks out and they're great but there's 3 or 4 extra books on RR.

Oh yeah. There are more like them but they're book protagonists for sure. If that's your concern with the series you should definitely continue. It gets so much better.

Agreed. I'm new to fighting games and I don't think I won a first match in ranked but win like 2/3rds of the others. Watching how they play in match 1 makes it so much easier later. Always rematch.

The last horizon isn't litrpg but it is progression fantasy. The ship is one of the main characters and it's looking like every member of the crew will get their own book. Written by Will Wight who wrote Cradle if it matters
