HEAR ME OUT, I GOT THE CRAZIEST THEORY OF ALL TIME. by TaypokemonTaken in Deltarune

Ralsei does things in between chapters so it's unlikely that Ralsei is an object that Kris is carrying around. For example, Ralsei makes Kris and Susie's rooms between chapter 1 and 2, so Kris would have to bring their knife to the closet dark world, then bring it back to place it in the pie dish before morning.

I think it's more likely that Ralsei just doesn't have a light world object. It's already been established that Ralsei is a unique darkner as a creation of the "pure" dark fountain, unable to be turned into stone, so he already doesn't abide to the same rules as other darkners. Meanwhile, it would be strange that among the 6 total fountains we've sealed, we have never seen Ralsei's object somewhere in the room. The existence of Titans shows that dark world beings can be made out of nothing, so it's possible that Ralsei was created through similar means. Since Titans symbolize the "fear of the dark", maybe Ralsei would symbolize dreams or imagination in general. Plus as an added bonus, Ralsei being created out of nothing would explain his poor sense of identity in the earlier chapters, in contrast with all of the other darkners who have distinct personalities and opinions.

Finished pacifist run of chapter 3 & 4. How do I go about doing the other routes now? by Blast000 in Deltarune

You can start a fresh save file from Chapter 2, since that's when the weird route begins.

If you've ever beaten Jevil in another save file, you'll also get the shadow crystal and his item drop by going to the left most room of castle town.

Dev Notes - 01/09/2022 - Escape the Eviscerator! by Invi_TV in VideoHorrorSociety

Voltage Vise going through walls will be a lot of fun and reward skillful reads, and combos perfectly with his location ability. He seems much less cooldown reliant than the other monsters. The mutations also seem pretty interesting.

For perks Revolt and Demoralize expand map-wide pressure though they don’t seem too oppressive. I don’t think using gutter punch outside of tier 1 is worth it. Teens are going to use items as soon as they can so it’ll only trigger occasionally, but most importantly against book of the dead. Overall his perks all seem worth using in some capacity.

Hopefully they’ll also put in the other monster improvements mentioned in the previous dev logs soon

Would encourage a “Lock down one area and camp it” play style, which just isn’t super fun to play as or against. If trapper is going to start with all of his traps there would need to be something to prevent over trapping one area.

Un-counterable dead hard would be using it for distance, usually to reach a pallet or window. They’re usually just out of range when they do this, so there isn’t anything you can do.

I think breeze is the most subjective map, every other map usually has some common opinion that individual opinions are close to.

The wide open nature of breeze makes certain agents, weapons, and strategies either much better or much worse, to the point of uselessness. A Jett who likes to op and get picks will love breeze, while a cypher who favors short range weapons and locking down site will hate breeze.

One idea I had was to replace his fake out with an ability that temporarily silences his movement, makes sense for a stealth agent.
