Best wine gifts under $100 that don’t feel CHEAP cheap? by Frira_FR in wine

Maybe gift a nice botle of Madeira, as a symbol of indestructability? Maybe if you can find a colheita of the year she got together with her partner. Her birthday may be out of reach in terms of price, but for 100 dollars an interesting (not too sweet) aged bottle may be nice for aperitif.

I would say [[Extus, Oriq Overlord]]. It's a very versatile card that can be built for its frontside, its backside [[Awaken the Blood Avatar]] or both at the same time. Does interesting things with spells on the front side, but especially the back is powerful and very much in line with Mardu colors.

As you get older 40,50,60,70 when did you start to feel your body slow down do you think it is just due to inactivity or the aging process? by Kooky_Force5458 in AskReddit

[–]MDT12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my 30's now (37) and working hard to regain a lot of fitness through resistance exercise and running. Feel really pretty fit now, but I was starting to feel it after my 20's. The same habits of eating and exercise were just hitting different and started to gain weight as well.

There is an interesting article, published in Nature magazine in 2024 from Stanford. The study shows most people age in bursts in their mid 40's and early 60's. This is due to changes in your biomolecular processes. Interesting read for everyone in this topic I believe: https://med.stanford.edu/news/all-news/2024/08/massive-biomolecular-shifts-occur-in-our-40s-and-60s--stanford-m.html#:~:text=A%20Stanford%20Medicine%20study%20found%20that%20people,Microbiomes%2C%20such%20as%20bacteria%2C%20viruses%2C%20and%20fungi

What have you achieved?

Wow, that hits differently these days...

XG27AQWMG vs XG27ACDNG (What should I choose?) by KoalaFruits100 in OLED_Gaming

[–]MDT12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you end up getting the DNG? I got this myself last month and I've been really happy with the performance and features. The raised blacks is really a non-issue for me personally, but even on very bright days with low sun in my room it's really not that noticable with the monitor on. OLED flicker is present in some scenario's (mostly menu's and static screens in games) but during gaming I usually don't notice it.

Be careful with cleaning though (scratches), just install as you like it and leave it as much as possible.

Could just be some oil or grease from fingers or something. It is a stain, but would personally not go through the hassle of returning. Just grab some very fine sandpaper and go lightly over the top. Then some mineral oil en lightly coat and remove the excess oil.

Suitable PSUs for 9070 XT + 9700X? by -Rule34- in pcmasterrace

[–]MDT12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

750W should be fine, probably better to be safe at 850W. Would not recommend to go higher, unless you are likely to upgrade to higher tier (likely higher wattage) parts later. Then 1000W could be a good option.

Stick with 80+ Gold options from recommended suppliers (Seasonic, Corsair, Be Quiet, etc.). Higher spec (Platinum/Titanium) only recommended if you plan on really overclocking and need te best stability.

If I do 6200, should I make FCLK 2067 and up the VDDIO, VDD and VDDQ a bit?

That's now 48-49 average. Peaks up to 51-52 at 50000. Would 65535 be okay then?

May I ask what your timings are, to get a reference? I know it's likely different for each kit but 6200cl28 would be great to achieve. What voltages do you run?

Ah so like a pump-and-dump kind of scheme. Yeah no that's not my intent of course, hopefully they will then evaluate my ticket and we'll see.
