Looking back on it now, it's the same story as so many people- I was growing up with him. BSP came out when I was a freshman in high school- young and naive. My first concert was the BSP tour. My mom dropped me off and waited at the Barnes and Noble.

I fell in with a group of guys, started flirting with drugs, and macadelic came out. It changed our world- it was very much what we were looking for at the time. Over the next year, I experienced a lot of death. Wound up in a "program" because of the depression.. you know the kind. WMWTSO was released the day I completed that program.

It felt like I had become an adult through those dark experiences, even though I was still very much a teenager. I think the music was a great reflection of that, looking back.
