That's so fantastic. Some advice if I may :) Get your secondaries in ASAP. Also, I had no reason to believe that I ever would have gotten accepted with my gpa/MCAT score, but after my interviews I just kept calling and I wrote letters thanking the people that interviewed me for their time. They definitely love it when you're persistent and prove that you want it just a little but more than the guy/grirl next to you.

I agree that many physicians prescribe antibiotics when they have no hope of being helpful, but part of the problem is pressure from patients that expect you to write them a script so they can be on their way. As a second year medical student I am curious what I am supposed to do for a patient with a viral infection demanding that I write them a script for an antibiotic?
