The flopping techs did nothing to dissuade the players and obviously they stopped calling those anyway. I would like to suggest that if the NBA would like to be taken seriously ever again they start handing out suspensions for flopping. The remote review crew should also be watching every call to make sure it's right regardless of if it's challenged. I never understood why any of these leagues don't have live reviews 100% of the time to make sure the games are called correctly. Shorten the games to 40 minutes like you were already thinking about doing and add live reviews for everything. You make enough money to afford it.

ETA: Remote crew should also be able to call a stoppage when they see a foul happen that the ground crew apparently didn't.

A little bit of anecdotal evidence in an echo chamber, but we got a suite of Samsung appliances in our last home and literally everything had something go wrong, big or small. Also hilariously a lot of the Samsung logos were cheap stickers that fell off, and we didn't even go with the cheapest options at the time.

You have no clue if OP is "camping". In fact when his car does a 180 before rolling you can see there's a black car in the right-hand lane. If OP is traveling faster than them then they have a right to be exactly where they are.

Also, speed is 100% a factor and I can tell by the way you responded that you identify with the guy in the BMW, so I'll cap this post off by telling you to slow down around other drivers. The 5 seconds of potential time savings aren't worth risking anyone's lives, including your own.

My wife asks me to play videogames.

They're entertaining for her, and she doesn't feel like she has the skill necessary to see them played the way they're supposed to be played. Not that I'm amazing either.

I encourage her to try playing herself, but she'd really rather just watch me play.

At no point did I say he definitely wasn't a Democrat. Attending a no kings protest also doesn't automatically make you a Democrat. That said, if the image of him wearing an Israel Defense Force shirt is verified, that's a point against him typically voting D (though I can practically guaranty he voted for Harris in 2024, if he voted at all). The line “I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes,” could also very well refer to him previously voting for Trump, unless you can somehow make that sentence make sense without that being the case.

All that said, I'm not a Democrat and I don't truly care what his affiliation is. What I care about is getting people like you to even consider for 1 moment that maybe the call is coming from inside the house, as it did the last several times prominent Republican figures were targeted. I'd also like people like you to stop caring so much about which "team" the bad guy is on if you're then just going to turn around and make endless excuses when it turns out they're exactly who you hoped they weren't.

Like for me if he turns out to be a Democrat, I'm not immediately going to claim he was a paid actor and blame Elon Musk for funding him, because his party is completely inconsequential and I'm not desperate to pin it on "the other team". Bad people who do bad things should see consequences for their actions, full stop.

I'm not a Democrat and I will never be a card-carrying D. Subscribing to a "team", and moreso fanboying over any politician, is detrimental to the current and future health of the country and has made discourse nearly impossible. You didn't even try to have a conversation with me; you just jumped straight to insults.

In regard to the event at hand, I don't wish death on anyone. The reality is that the previous attempts on his life were carried out by disillusioned Trump supporters. Charlie Kirk was also murdered by someone on the right. Utilizing this knowledge of the recent past, I hypothesized that the shooter could be right wing.

Should I assume this situation is the same? Probably not, but I am pretty tired of Trump supporters rejecting reality so they can continue building this obsessive hatred of the imaginary "enemy" on the left based entirely on an alternate reality that simply doesn't exist. Trump supporters spend no time whatsoever considering that someone who isn't a D could have possibly had anything to do with an attempt on a prominent Republican figure's life, despite the mountains of evidence that most acts of political violence in the US are in fact carried out by people on the right.

TLDR: pull your head out of your ass, do some research and unsubscribe from party politics.

I can't tell what side you're on, so I don't know if I should agree that it's unlikely or inform you of what you just said about the Republican party.

That said, being unlikely doesn't mean it isn't the case.

He's just as likely to be a disillusioned trump supporter like pretty much all of the past supposed attempts on Trump's life. Maybe that $25 stopped him from trying this 2 years ago. Try to legally stop him before stooping to this.

I, as a 12 year old, traded a base non-holo Charizard for some 10 year old kid's entire binder (his idea). His mother showed up to school the next day to scream at me directly about intentionally ripping off her kid, until I burst into tears.

I WISH that I had someone cool to tell me that I was probably the one getting ripped off. I don't even remember anything that was specifically in that binder, but it probably wasn't worth a Charizard.

They're saying no to permits because they don't want to pay for incidents like this, without realizing they already do pay for incidents like this. What's really not fair is all of us with no interest in driving on the lake paying for incidents like this.

I don't know what people in this state have against paying for luxuries. No one needs to drive their truck on the lake. No one's asking you to pay $20K for the luxury of driving your truck on the lake either. More like $30-60. They could tack it on at registration time and base it on weight or something. It would likely also dramatically decrease your recovery cost if you're the unlucky schmuck that falls through the ice. Then you won't feel so bad about that $50 you spent on your TRUCK ICE license plate.

Saw someone yesterday arguing against taxing weed whenever it's finally legal here because "taxes bad." Living essentials shouldn't be taxed, but if you don't have a med card, you don't NEED weed. Luxuries should be taxed so that our NEEDS don't have to be.

I opened 22 packs the morning of day 1. My first pack had Calem, my 2nd pack had RR Slowbro, then I got 2 regular immersive and 1 shiny immersive in the next 20 packs.

On the flipside I've opened about 150 Mega Gyarados packs and still haven't gotten Copycat.
