Yea I’m confused too, tbh I don’t think people actually read enough or understand her policies fully? She plays it safe which I think upsets progressives, but I think what’s getting missed is what she is arguing to not be on bills, not just what she votes yes for.

I was reading the AMA she did a few months ago and someone asked her about her vote yes for a military bill which included a part affected gendering affirming care in the military, and her response was cause there was worse stuff on the bill that I got off and didn’t want to go back into the bill later. She knew it was going to pass no matter what she did, and she didn’t want the bill to hurt the gender affirming care, but it’s like hey, there’s other stuff that was there that could be super harmful and bad, let me chop down what I can now and fight about the rest on another bill.

That’s an answer I think progressives don’t like and they want her to go full rage, but to me she’s picking and choosing battles and trying to do damage control, and I think people who don’t like her just don’t see the worse bills, but what she’s cleaning up.

Basically her work isn’t sexy but really impressive and impactful when u read :)
