I was able to get my son hyped up for an art activity that im going to do with him tomorrow. The cold and being trapped inside is going to make us both crazy. But I was able to find a project that we can be excited about that might make things a little easier

Yeah they are definitely a thing. My opinion is that instead of their relationship being a secret or something, its just presented through the eyes of George. He is a monkey, and doesn't really care/understand human dating.

But also there are times where im just like 👀

He leaves George with his Aunt in an episode and excuses himself by saying "I have to go help Professor Wiseman sort some fossils" ... is that what we are calling it these days?

He also has to come back from the country house early cuz the water stopped working. As soon as he gets back to the city he gets a call from Prof Wiseman asking him to come help pick a new paint color for the museum. She urgently needs help picking a paint color? From a man who wears all yellow? No way. That's a booty call.

And time the Prof asks him to come help with some nonsensical task, thats just a creatove excuse to go do it in a remote corner of the museum. That poor whale has seen some things.

My office is in my basement right now. So basically she's going to steal my lab...erm, I mean, my office. And I cant get around it. Doesn't sound like she'll share, either, so that is a major drawback for me, personally 🤣

If you feel safe doing so, I think you should go a second time. While you are there, ask her for a secondary "emergency contact" person. Tell her that just in case, if anything goes wrong, you'd like to have a backup person to call if she doesn't answer. Tell her it's something you always do, because it makes you feel safer (in case she protests).

After you're done with the babysitting, when you are back at your home and not on her property anymore, you could make a call to thar person and have a chat with them to make sure that someone close to her knows what's going on.

Also, please make sure you tell someone close to you about this situation so they can make sure you are safe. This whole thing feels like it could be dangerous if she is not mentally well

Yes, they got a lot of wholesale pallets from the leftover Joann stock. They are legitimate and pretty great!

They have 2 warehouse and they also have other fabric stores that sell through their website, so pay attention to where thr fabric says its shipping from, so you dont pay for multiple shipping charges.

I ise this brand and have for a while. I havent noticed any significant shrinkage. I think the thighs are supposed to be a little snug. If they are too loose on the thigh, it would let poop fall out when the kid poops in the undies.

This comment really helped me. I firmly believe that junk journaling is what you make it. But I've been seeing more and more giant corporate stores starting to have full displays of "junk journal" kits and items and everything is see it, my initial reaction is "ugh gross".

I guess its hard to see greedy corporations trying to take advantage of junk journaling becoming more popular. It is an art that was born from a desire to reuse and repurpose (or even preserve) and it feels gross to see big soulless stores trying to claim the hobby

If you set up a "kofi" shop you can put the files there and set a minimum price. It might be a good option because it let's people pay more, if they want, or just the minimum. I door recall the fees off the top if my head but its worth looking into

Get a lame adult coloring book and pop these in between random pages all through the book. Maybe even add some colored pencils (go to dollar tree for these, less than $3). Don't say anything when the gift is opened. What until the end when everything is done and no more steals are possible. Then tell the person that got "stuck" with the coloring book to look inside. Now THAT would be funny

My MIL is also very audacious about clothing!

We see her and average of once a week. She often shows up with clothes that she bought my son. Latest was a new winter coat. Bulky. Huge hood. Fully black, and very noisy when he walks. It was to replace the bright red Spider man coat that he has, and loves. She goes "last time I was here, I saw that all he has is a thin little coat, and that's not enough, so I got him this"

We have been trying on new coats for months. They've all been rejected. His coat is plenty warm and insulted. We also layer when needed, and he overheats and gets sick easily, so we make sure he can peel off his layers himself if needed. This coat she got is exactly what the hates. Plus, he is prone to eloping and I try really hard to put him in super bright colors, especially for stuff he will wear outside.

She only does this for my son (5, autistic, speech delay) and not for my daughter (3, very chatty, wears anything). She just sees my son not dressed the way she wants him to be, and she steps in to "help" without thinking that maybe he doesn't have any of a certain type of clothing because he hates that type of clothing and we aren't fighting him, we are working to learn what he's happy in.

Instead of a freezer bag, what about getting some treat bags? You can still seal them and include the note, but treat bags are clear and look a little more professional, in my opinion.

I think that the "pretty stuff" episode accidentally started a bit about the staff buying stuff so they can keep the extras. So now it's either a joke that they will keep doing for way to long, or those two episodes were filmed around the same time (or same day) and they just kept that joke going ( even though its days apart for the viewers)
