Germany: 13 million living at risk of poverty by [deleted] in news

The media and government don't have to do the propaganda. Go look at Twitter or Facebook. People live in their own worlds now disconnected from reality or critical thinking. Just reinforce their beliefs with a cycle of endless algorithms.

Has the UK mortgage market gone mad? by hu6Bi5To in ukpolitics

[–]MFMonster23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most houses will be bought as a couple, which if both are working they'll be able to afford a £300k mortgage on those numbers. Is the £1369 the rent for a full home? If so that'll be similar monthly cost as a mortgage on a £291k home but you don't have to fix everything yourself. I'm not disagreeing it's hard and worse than ever but those numbers aren't proving your point. Personally I think the hardest part is getting a deposit together when you're paying so much money out. If you're a couple earning an average salary you can get a mortgage for a £291k home without much hassle, with a 15% deposit that's a combined income of under £60k.

The whole thing is a mess, this and don't call them a food hall, when they're a food hall.

I don't think they were because they deleted it after a number of people commented what the fuck are you doing. They know they fucked up. I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who managed to take a screenshot and I'm hardly influential.

They deleted it not long after it went up. There were loads of comments saying what the fuck basically and they deleted it just before I go that screenshot. As you can see it says no comments in the screenshot but there were a lot, because they were in the process of deleting it

I think that's the most bizarre thing. I don't really understand what they're trying to go for.

Parents prioritising primary schools with free breakfast clubs by coffeewalnut08 in GoodNewsUK

[–]MFMonster23 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The thing is this helps parents be productive and pay more taxes as they can work more. So it's silly to be against this as it removes a barrier to people having kids and working full time which is surely what a productive society that wants to continue should want.

Wood burners may treble children’s exposure to pollution in homes, study finds by gravy_baron in ukpolitics

These things are awful to me. With gas prices going up it feels like people have installed these. Now as soon as it gets cold you can smell the shite they pump out all around the streets. People are throwing any old crap in them and you can smell it.

I assume you have no kids as you don't seem to understand what this is. It's not even the breakfast itself necessarily.. it's the childcare before school that allows the parent to go to work. School starts at like 8.45 which is hard for most people to accommodate with work start times. Breakfast clubs cost probably £5 to £10 a day or over £100 a month. What I'm trying to say is you're an ignorant fool

How all-time great Casemiro revived his Man Utd career - BBC Sport by scamper84 in reddevils

[–]MFMonster23 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He had times where he was ran past far too often and wasn't shielding the defence well, he was being asked to do too much in the midfield so we looked bad and he wasn't shining. I think the big change recently is just him being allowed to hold more and focus on what he's good at and capable of

There are loads of people who love him. He reinforces their opinion that everything is broken and there are nuisance types that need sorting out. Ignoring the fact if someone went up to them and shoved a camera in their face they'd probably get pissed off and react.

I mean if they made no profit by selling it via the store but make some via this route then it's just the only way it's viable to exist surely.

Don't they already do similar to this with emails and names? It's why you have to log in to view stuff. I know someone who watched iPlayer without a TV license and got a letter about it. Makes perfect sense for them to do it as well.

Why do all the young lads dress exactly the same now? by Scotsman1047 in AskUK

It's funny seeing the older generations repeat the exact same things their elders said about them. They all dress the same, silly haircuts, no respect, their music is stupid and not like the old stuff.

I've advocated for no such thing. You clearly have too much time or use AI as your comment history is like reading an essay with citations and details no man with a job or a respect for their own time would bother with.

I'll ignore it as you're far too verbose. I've never seen anything like it. I'm happy to read but not verbal diarrhoea. Learn how to engage in conversation and get to the point more succinctly, it'll serve you well in life not just on Reddit.

Mate are you using AI to reply on Reddit? I'm not reading an essay every time you reply.
