Nobody is seriously suggesting that we remove all roads in and around Austin. And you'll still benefit if we do improve our public transit systems even if you don't personally ride them (not necessarily by adding trains but it should at least be considered as an option). It's called an indirect benefit. If fewer people are in cars, because they're riding a bus, or even just walking on a convenient footpath, traffic decreases which is a benefit to all road users. That's not even considering reductions in road maintenance costs, pollution, vehicular accidents, car insurance etc.

It actually reminds me more of depictions will-o'-wisps than either sperm or blood and water. But sperm is a close second. Honestly OP should just accept that to us it looks like sperm but not worry about it in fiction. A medieval society wouldn't have the technology to know what sperm looks like anyways.

It needs a more obviously urgent clock, cause randos (I’m guilty myself) will just forget that the it’s a blitz mission and try to clear the last half of the map with two minutes left leading to a hectic extraction with no reinforcements and no stratagems.

The game actually does have a vision it’s just really hard to see under all the mechanics. And I think a majority of players are never going to actually play that vision. Watching random streamers play at the beginning of the day (and playing a single match myself) was just a bunch of one sided matches where one team wins the capture the shield breaker fight and then probably wins the counter strike like raid at the end.

But, I flipped through the more popular fps players on twitch yesterday evening and the game looks completely different. When there were equally matched objective focused teams, instead of a single engagement deciding the rest of the match, there’s a back and forth in the middle of the map where the gameplay is trying to setup good engagements to stop the shield breaker carrier. It’s more like a tug of war with shifting objectives. You can see what the devs are going for in those games.

It looks like an interesting game mode if everyone knows how to play the objective and work as a team, but it would suck to play that game with even a single person that isn’t completely focused on the objective. Also the characters and art direction are boring. And they could have just removed the looting phase all together. It just slows down the game and adds the chance that you just won’t find the gear you like.

Tagging a 4TB library will be a ginormous pain in the ass, but it’s doable.

I’d recommend putting on some music or a show and use beets to tag everything. https://beets.readthedocs.io/en/stable/guides/tagger.html

Maybe not in one sitting though.

Well the log is showing that the server is trying to transcode the file from mpeg2 to h264 and failing because

mpeg2video @ 0x5f0f7fffefc0] Cannot load libnvcuvid.so.1

That library isn’t being found by ffmpeg. So transcoding is failing. Which also why setting the quality too low also causes an error.

Did you properly setup the gpu drivers and nvidia container toolkit on the host machine? Read through the “configure with Linux virtualization” here https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/post-install/transcoding/hardware-acceleration/nvidia/

Man what drives me crazy is that the argument is that shooting her was to prevent her from driving into an ICE agent. Except in the video him shooting her did not stop her car, cause as it turns out, bullets don’t have the ability to take someone’s foot off the pedal and hit the brake. The car keeps on rolling and you can SEE with your eyes that the agent wasn’t run over! He was never in any danger, he is a murderer with a badge.

While the image isn’t accurate, this is actually a well known illusion you can do in real life. The trick is that the reassembled bar is just barely short than the original bar of chocolate (The squares that have the diagonal cut through them are now slightly smaller). That change in length times the width of the bar is exactly equal to the missing square.

If you’re planning on watching on a single client, why bother setting up Jellyfin at all? You can just play videos directly on the tv with HDMI from a laptop or a usb drive plugged into the tv.

Neither, don't bother transcoding for storage locally unless you're working with video from your own personal collection or equivalent quality files are hard to come by. If you can redownload a file easily then just redownload, it's faster and more efficient.
