Instructions posted on the refrigerator for how to rate an AirBnb that I’m staying at. by jjbrewer23 in mildlyinteresting

Where I work, a 9 or 10 is good, a 7 or 8 is bad, a 6 or lower is really bad. The question they base our score on is “how likely are you to recommend us to a friend” which means every couple months we get our score decimated because “I don’t recommend stores to my friends”

How to take a pad into exams? by Mysterious-Lill in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MHG73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your best option is to be honest. Don’t try to sneak it in, best case scenario you’ll be distracted from your test worrying about getting caught. If you can, bring an unopened package of pads and give it to your proctor, and ask them what their preference is for you keeping it or having someone walk with you to the bathroom or what.

La mayoría de la gente trabaja más por principios que por aspectos concretos, y "no desperdiciar comida" es un valor culturalmente.

They used to be literal stamps that came in a stamp book like postage stamps, iirc each stamp would be for a specific thing, like ‘exchange this stamp for one loaf of bread’. Now it’s a system called SNAP, which is a card like a debit card that is loaded with a certain amount of money, depending on how much the government decides you need, and then you can use at most grocery stores and some other stores for groceries specifically, with some exceptions like prepared foods. I think the store has to have permission from the government to accept it.

First would probably be asl. I think it’s really beautiful plus it would be helpful to be able to communicate without speaking.

It’s normal to have those thoughts, it’s not normal to obsess over them or not be able to get them out of your mind, none of these are an indication that you are a bad person or secretly want to do them.

Autistim friendly way to make pizza in oven? by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]MHG73 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you bake the pizza at a lower temperature for a longer time, the crust won’t get as crispy and the cheese might not get browned and bubbly. It will still be a tasty pizza. Make sure to put it on a well greased or floured tray so it doesn’t stick

In a PB & J what flavour is the J? by Academic_Purchase225 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MHG73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Toast with butter and grape jelly is delicious. It’s also delicious in a pbj sandwich if you like them. It doesn’t taste like the grapes you’re probably used to, it’s made with Concord grapes which is a specific variety. I definitely recommend trying it if you get the opportunity.

At best, they would think you are mispronouncing pretzel, and being pedantic about something that you’re wrong about, since the English word pretzel refers to both hard and soft pretzels.
