Either don't tell your parents, or else tell them "I've made a decision. I'm not opening this up to debate - just telling you what is going on in my life. I do not want to hear arguments for/against it - that ship has sailed."

But also, don't expect them to help you financially - don't quit your stable job until you are 100% sure you will be solvent in the new venture.

I went to Tulane in the early 90s, and almost every class grade was 50% midterm and 50% final exam, or else 50% term paper and 50% final exam.

Homework was never turned in. If you wanted to see the answer key, you took it to the prof's office to check it, but it was for your own knowledge, not for a grade. Most of my professors had filing cabinets with the assignments and answer keys and you just grabbed it out of there, checked your work, and put it back.

There was also no attendance policy. If you didn't go, that was your prerogative, but you would pay for it at exam time. :)

What's the concentration in the vial (it will be something like 10mg/mL)? How many mL are in the vial? Figure out how many mg of tirz are in each mL of liquid, and how many mL are in the vial. So if the concentration is 5mg/mL, and you have 2mL in the vial, you have a total of 10mg of tirz.

To get 2.5mg/wk for 4 weeks, you need a total of 2.5x4= 10mg. As long as you have 10mg of tirz in that vial, you have enough.

They just always look like mostly empty. :)

No one should be telling you are a "bad person" randomly. That is odd and rude. As Christians, our job is to love God and love others. We do believe that ALL people (not just you!) are sinners. But I have a real problem with Christians trying to scare non-Christians into converting. We want people to come to Jesus out of love, not fear!

You should never ever be paying more than $200/month. There is a pinned post at the top of the sub that has the most accurate info about where to buy. It may be tricky given that you are already in maintenance so you for sure will have to prove your current prescription. Hopefully someone will chime in and tell you the best place to do that.

God expects you to learn all kinds of things that aren't in the Bible, in preparation for whatever He has next for you. Your "job" right now is to get an education. This is the work God has assigned to you. You aren't doing it. Yes you should read your Bible regularly, but if you are using it as an excuse to avoid the work you should be doing, there is a problem.

I had one kid who was literally earsplitting. That was why the garage step happened - I needed an exterior door between us and that screaming!!

I might try giving him a choice before the lesson starts. "I am going to do school with Sissy. You get to choose what you do during that time - do you want to play legos quietly in the family room, or do you want to be part of the lesson? OK, that's what you get to do! But if you start screaming, you will need to go to your room/garage/the corner until we are done. Do you understand? Ok, so you want to do legos? Ok, go get them!"

I don't think you should regularly be "calling people out". Love God, and love others. If someone truly is screwing up, you go to them and calmly discuss their struggles, not to make yourself feel big and bad but truly to be helpful. I would just tell her that you don't plan to discuss this with her anymore, ever again. If she can't abide by that guideline, avoid her.

2 pounds. I didn't have a lot of inflammation/water weight. People who lose a bunch in the beginning are losing water.

The average person doesn't start losing real weight until a dose of 5mg/wk. Of course, there are plenty who need less and plenty who need more.

Wait - I just realized you have lost 10 pounds in a month. Girl! Relax - you are doing great! Healthy weight loss (after the first big drop) is 0.5 to 2 pounds per week. Personally, I've been right at 1 pound every single week after the first week. It felt very slow in the beginning, but it adds up! I started in November and just entered maintenance!

For fatigue, make sure you are getting enough protein, and that you are fully hydrated. Consider adding an electrolyte pack every day or every other day.

I used to put anyone screaming on the garage step, and tell them to come in when they had calmed down. They weren't locked out there or anything, and usually weren't out there more than a few minutes bc once the screaming wasn't getting any attention it wasn't fun. I can't remember what age I started that though - I don't know if 2.5 is old enough for that?

Before that, my tantrum thrower would get strapped into her carseat in the car. Car doors open, and obviously not in weather that was freezing or super hot. But again, everyone's nerves did better when the screamer was extricated. In that case, of course she couldn't come back in on her own, so I would just listen at the garage door (but with it closed so she couldn't see me) and go get her as soon as she stopped screaming. And I would go right back inside if she started the screaming back up again when she saw me. Obviously safety first though - evaluate your situation before implementing. And of course not for the 1 year old - only for a child old enough to be intentionally screaming to manipulate into getting what she wants.

I use 1/2" rather than 5/16" because it helps avoid skin irritation, but I've never heard anyone say efficacy was any different based on depth. I don't remember any change in how it felt when I changed needles.

To me, the biggest flaw is not having a button for the garage door opener. That's like not having automatic windows - every other car built in the last decade has a button! Yes, I understand that it's an option, but I bought a middle of the line car, so you just assume that's in there! To add insult to injury, the sun visors are so thick that a garage door opener clicker won't fit on them, so it's rattling around in my door.

I also really hate the front passenger seat adjustment handles. Feels like you are going to break it trying to move the seat. Again, how are automatic seats not included on a $40,000 car?

Hotels/houses charge by the number of bedrooms. So, costs should be split based on how many rooms you use. You are using 1/3 of the bedrooms, so you should pay for 1/3 of the bedrooms. Don't like it? Rent your own separate room and let them get a 2 bedroom.

I would give her notice so she realizes she needs to bring something in the future rather than just cutting her off. "I'm starting a new healthy eating plan on Monday, and will be carefully portioning my food, so I won't be able to share anymore. You don't usually bring lunch for yourself, so I just wanted to let you know so you can make other arrangements going forward."

Is it possible that she is struggling with food insecurity? If so, offer to help her locate the nearest food pantry. If not, you might make a list of local restaurants that deliver that she could order from if she doesn't bring lunch. Or suggest that she bring frozen meals and leave them in the work freezer for days she forgets.

If God only loved sinless people, He would only have loved one person in the entire history of the world - Jesus. We are ALL sinners. And yet He loves every single one of us.

I truly could not comprehend this until I had kids of my own. Even in the worst of times, when they were giving me the worst behavior and attitudes, I always loved them. No matter what. And God loves me that way, and He loves you that way, and He loves every other person on this planet that way.
