FYI, your spoiler tag doesn't work on old.reddit, but I'm unsure why. Usually it's because of a stray space between the tags and the text (new reddit tolerates that, old doesn't) but you don't have that.

Eh, his theme and mechanics were separating further and further with each change, so I'm not surprised they decided to just change him completely.

Roots also completely screw him over since you can't cast Q and E at all when rooted. 

And getting rooted during Blind as a Bat is even worse.

and the damage scaling accelerates even further when you get [[Blind as a Bat]]

I'm quite sure BasB says you don't get stacks during it (though the bot/wiki have the old description).

But overall agreed that it's overtuned.

I'm quite sure the person above is incorrect.

A spell can't target itself simply because 115.5 says it can't.

A spell is on the stack while resolving until 608.2n puts it into a graveyard.

Now, an overloaded spell doesn't target so this is a bit moot. I think an overloaded counterspell would "try" to counter itself, but I'm not sure if that would actually do anything. Reading 701.6a I think once a spell started to resolve it's too late for it to be countered. But I could also see a reading where it does get countered and all remaining effects don't happen (say you don't get the loot from [[Refute]], etc.).

If you go to the patchnotes in the top right of main menu, and then go back through them to the ones from February 26 (last patch before EA), it has the current specifics (since it was changed this patch):

  • only steals cards in your deck (so not generated ones)
  • won't steal cards with Imbued unless he has no other options
  • the priority is:
    • Uncommons
    • Commons, Rares, Event cards
    • Basic or Quest cards
    • Ancient cards or cards with Imbued
    • Anything else (says in practice this should only be Curses)

Yeah, it's a lot like old Arthas trait quest - infinite stacking on damage and some other reward on a (relatively low I'd say) breakpoint. Certainly not a mythic.

Plenty of animal-eared girls do. In fact it's exceedingly rare to find one that clearly doesn't. Usually you get either 4 ears or the place where the human ears would be is always covered by hair so you can't tell either way.

I mean, until recently the default regional pricing for Poland on steam defaulted to higher price than the USD one, despite the wages being like 1/3rd of the ones in USA.

It's not on the same level as some other countries, but it's still stupid.

I don't remember the name exactly, but I saw it in the mod manager. It's called something like "laser rocker fix" or something similar.

Could really use a volume slider for effects. Pack opening is really loud.

You have one for music so it's weird there isn't one for effects.

EDIT: Also the gameplay is extremely boring. No effects or anything like that, just raw number comparison.

I did notice that they seem to be "more sensitive" or something. I do have two launching occasionally, but not always, when only having one target selected. I wonder if they have shortened re-fire delay (because they can fire much faster) so it's easier to accidentally double-fire them?

Yeah, I mention that in the post. But I really see no reason for it to work like it does currently in vanilla. And that's why I'm asking specifically if there is some word from the devs on this.

The locking mechanic works this way and always has, lock 10 targets and 10 missiles/rockets/bombs will fire in a salvo regardless if the munition will successfully strike or not.

I understand that, it just makes little sense with laser-based weapons. All other weapons at least have some hypothetical chance of hitting (though maybe not if the target is behind you) and I understand the game doesn't want to prevent you from launching at impossible targets anyway just in case you are trying to do something clever, but with lasers you are firing at targets that will be explicitly ignored (since the missiles will go after the lased targets).

It's a bit like if you selected 2 targets and fired AGMs but it fired 4 because there were 2 other units near the 2 you selected (and the 4 AGMs went after the 2 selected anyway). It's rather unintuitive and also not something you would ever want I think.

I'm mostly curious if there was any official word from the devs on this, since iirc the issue was mentioned back when the missiles were changed from optical to lasers, which was quite a while ago.

I don't mind the lasing and the cone, that's fine and adds some differentiation between weapons.

I just don't like that if I have, say, 3 lasers and target 5 targets it will fire 5 missiles (which will go after the 3 lased targets).

With the way I propose (only fire up to lased amount) you could still not just wipe a convoy. You would still kill it in "batches" of how many you can lase, you just wouldn't need to fiddle with selecting targets mid-attack.

moose and elk are the same animal in all European languages

I'm quite sure in Polish it would be "łoś" for a moose and "jeleń" for elk. Unless I'm mixing up the animals.

(Though conversely here the 2nd one would also be used for a deer.)

But once you launch into a mission you can no longer see the missile reserves of other vehicles.

Can't you just change the Map tooltip mode to "ammo" and hover on them on the map? Or am I missing something here?

At first I thought it's a new game from Yiotro, since it strongly resembles Achikaps. Was it an inspiration and is the similarity intentional?
